It seems weird that the guy who was integral in Trump's 2020 failed campaign could be turned against him (and his proxies) right in time for 2024.

And what better way to sell it than to resign?

It's no crazier a conspiracy than elites sucking on pineal glands. And pretty comparable to the level of conspiracy intricacy the left is often accused of.

I really believe if I reversed the parties I could absolutely sell that a democrat would fake bribe and then fake resign for greater good takeover purposes.

But no, can't happen on the other side. Never.

At last report,, the AZ GOP only had $159,000 in their war chest. Without a capable leader, GOP candidates may find themselves with empty coffers as their elections ramp up.

In the end, Lake may have just torpedoed her own Senate campaign. Winning the three-way fight was going to tough enough. If the party doesn't have the funds to help supplement her campaign then whoever the Dem candidate ends being is going to be able to drastically outspend her.

I at least feel better knowing I'm not the only one that thinks that recording sounds fake.

Could be she was tipped off and rehearsed, but I feel I am pretty good at recognizing rehersed dialog. It comes off almost like a half-ass read through.

Once more, may be my bias to hear as much.

it's quite amazing. Looking at this from the "left good, right bad" lens before anything else, just seems difficult. Keri-Republican, Jeff-Republican. But in the eyes of partisanship, the one that could make Trump look bad must be the bad one, and the other one was set up. BTW, did you get your Nikki for President campaign kit yet?

The Democrats aren't virtuous, but they know that a unified party has a better chance of getting corporate contributions and winning elections. It's an MIC thing and you know it...or at least you should.

I think she is the best candidate still standing, whatever that says. How long though is a matter of how much money she wants to lose. The female heir apparent to the GOP is apparent now. It's not Nikki Haley, it's not Liz Cheyney, it's the furthest thing from my 'RINO' comfort zone. It's Kari Lake.

I maintain my skepticism, but acknowledge everyone's right to choose, and I hope for the sake of our democratic integrity this really is corruption from the left, because if my opinion is true, this is like watching a dictator subvert to power.

But for many that already happened.

"Who Bribed Kari Lake" may determine who is corrupt. I can't rule anything out yet. And I have my bias.

But if it turns out the democrats and anti-trump republicans really are all out trying to bribe Trump-alligned candidates, and are going to great lengths, exactly as stated all along, I will gladly say I was wrong, and be glad Trump's accusations of mass conspiracy against him aren't a reichstag fire.

And if they don't pursue this, and he just resigns, and nothing really comes from this, and life goes on as they never really explain the chain of bribery money, I will always be suspicious and feel it's a manufactured 'they'. A tail wagging a dog to make her the belle of The GOP ball.

And then It is just hoping the dictates of the new reich don't affect me.

Reasoning being: If the GOP doesn't go all out trying to expose the opposition's corruption, it goes against what they should be doing in that situation. The GOP must now mercilessly follow this chain, not just let him resign, otherwise they are suspect. This should be blood in the water to kill off the corrupt left. If they don't do that with a corruption scandle like this, I don't know.

From what I understand, she felt like something was up (thus recording the conversation). It would be logical to choose your words carefully if you know you are recording them.

That I can tentatively accept, for her. There's something off about him, too. Perhaps there's some old timey blackmail putting him up to it?

It doesn't necessarily have to be scripted to be awkward, but it's definitely like he was unsure and she was fake sure. Maybe she had intuition and he had a gun to his head?

Just my read. That could happen under different circumstances.

I said my piece, I will withhold my further criticism and see how this plays out from here.
