Last month (Dec 2023), Congress was unified in its desire to expel freshman Congressman George Santos (R-NY) from Congress. He had been arrested by the DOJ for Identity Theft and Credit Card Fraud (ref: www.cbsnews.com... )

Early in 2024, we are faced with another corrupt member of Congress getting caught. This time the charges are more serious, and the member of Congress is a U.S. Senator with lots of clout...

Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) is expected to force a vote on a resolution next week that would ban lawmakers who are indicted on national security matters from attending classified briefings.

The legislation is a response to Sen. Bob Menendez (D-NJ), who was indicted on federal bribery charges in September last year. The Pennsylvania senator has been one of Menendez’s most vocal critics.

“We should have chucked that sleazeball long ago,” Fetterman told CNN of Menendez on Friday. “But now, we’re looking to move my resolution to the floor, and I’m going to call on unanimous consent so we can stop any senator that is being accused of being a foreign agent attending classified briefings.”

WHY is +98% of Congress satisfied with a twice-indicted Foreign Agent/Senator serving in Congress and attending National Security briefings, but couldn't stand having a colleague who committed Identity Theft and Credit Card Fraud?

I did not have Fetterman being a voice of reason on my 2024 bingo card.

While I was unaware of this, somehow it does not surprise me in the very least.

As a matter of fact, I can say that it would be expected.

I don't live in PA.

I would not have voted for Fetterman.

I would have to think very hard it about it next election.

I ponder the thought:

I wonder he was just a silver spoon, who saw how he got put in office. How he was used by the DNC with no regard for his health. The right was all over him, and I still think justified.

And that is when the real world punched him in the throat.

I think he is starting to be red pilled...I don't know.

I would love to have a real conversation over coffee with him. I would be interested to know what is pushing him to go against the narrative.

If he showed up and did/voted/said as told, he could have that seat until he dies.

I’m sure this is all theater. Sometimes they need to act like they care . Menendez didn’t do what he’s told or he’s the guy they’re using to act like they’re cleaning their cesspool out

I don't think you have to be red pilled to realize they should be gone, it shouldn't have taken months for Santos and it should not take months for Menendez.

Yes, yes, innocent until proven guilty, but any public record arrest for something like this, should, if not immediately fire you, put you on some sort of unpaid leave. At any job.

I always stand by if there is evidence of a crime and you've been arrested, then there are repercussions of that. Especially this type of crime.
