What could possibly be wrong with an initiative to prop up the marginalized and give preference to minority groups over the obvious "privileged" majority? Other than it's the textbook definition of racism, there is one area where it won't be used, ever.

Professional sports.

Why haven't we seen the first transgender midget little person be chosen to be a point guard for the Mavericks? Why should the USA basketball team that competes in olympic events not have some short white folk on the team? Or is DEI just for the folks with extra melanin?

What is "racism" really?

rac·ism
/ˈrāˌsiz(ə)m/
noun
prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism by an individual, community, or institution against a person or people on the basis of their membership in a particular racial or ethnic group, typically one that is a minority or marginalized.

In the sports world, we operate on a meritocracy. Only the best of the best make it to the top. Why is that? for the benjamins? It seems so. If we extrapolate the facts on this, it would seem DEI had a salary cap. It's good for other smaller payouts, jobs, and positions, but when it comes to the big money, it's all about the tallent, not about the skin color.

But why is this ignored? How can something so glaring, so in your face be overlooked? It must be willful, it's not hidden, quite the opposite. We broadcast the contests on live TV, and in some cases even charge for people to view it. Can the proponents of DEI really be this obtuse? Or is this just another money grab, like BLM turned out to be?

Remember, don't listen to fools like Dr. Martin Luther King jr. Sure they have a special day named after him, but his thinking is so totally backwards, so wrong, it's a wonder anyone still admits to celebrating such a day rooted in foolishness. We are not equal, we will never be equal, some of us are more equal and others not so much. It's time to face reality and know your place. Stay in your lane.

The only thing on a job application should be your name, education and work experience. Anything other than that is BS. I want the most qualified person for the job, not the most PC.

It always makes me feel so much more safe and comfortable knowing that the pilot of my flight has been hired based on their race and gender.
Extra comfort knowing the hiring practices of the maintenance staff are the same.

We have an entire illegitimate administration that filled thousands of "honey pot" positions with people that have no business being in those positions. They are all "YES" people.

Take Xavier Becerra, former California attorney general, and now secretary of health and human services?? Wtf qualifies him to head such a department? You'd think someone with at least a medical degree would be far better suited, no?

Oh, he was on a committee so that makes him a doctor.🙄

Below was the most important part of this appointment as even the website makes sure you know it right away up top, it states:

Get to Know Secretary Becerra

Xavier Becerra is the 25th Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services and the first Latino to hold the office in the history of the United States.
www.hhs.gov...
There's the money shot. Not qualified but he checks the boxes like some of the other blatantly racist appointments like our new supreme court justice "who had to be black and a woman" to paraphrase potato joe.

That was okay apparently.

Smh. The reason everything is going to absolute ship is that agencies and departments are helmed by sycophantic do-nothings that are out of their depth, sitting around collecting a nice check while waiting to throw levers and push buttons when given the order.

They're not there to improve or even uphold the very purpose of the agency or department itself. They are simply there to execute an agenda that supercedes anything else.

Absolutely agree, well said.
Pete buttjudge is the poster child for incompetent box checking diversity hires.
Many more like him.
He’s actually doing worse of a job than that tranny.
Not that luggage stealing one, one of the other ones who hasn’t been fired yet.

I remember getting backlash when I posted Joe's words that he would pick a woman for his VP. He sure picked a winner. She checks two boxes, possibly three if you include idiot as a determining factor.

The apex of this insanity is watching retired sportswomen virtue signal about how "trans" women (men) should be allowed to play in their sport in the name of "inclusion."

The real Patriarchy is men tricking women into supporting men supplanting them.

But why is this ignored?

You're forgetting the vast majority of the people who believe in this kind of ideology only believe in it because they're physically incapable of independent, rational thought. Even something as glaringly obvious and in-their-face as this--it simply doesn't compute.

They will only raise a stink about this when they've been told to.

I think you are right, but where does that leave us? This isn't how the "greatest country on the Earth" does business. This is entering how some third world Sh!t hole would jail their opposition. How is that guy who wanted to run against Putin doing?

And yes, seeing women try to champion the Trans agenda taking over women's sports is solid clown world material. I keep thinking of all the garbage happening today and if I told you 10 years ago, this is where we would be, I would have laughed at me hard.

The government and the educational system have gone beyond mere DEI. They hire people who are certifiably insane.

Screwed. As I've said in a number of threads, I think we're past the point of no return. The time to fight back against this was a generation ago. It's so thoroughly ingrained in everything and in the minds of almost our entire youth population that the natural course is that this is simply the future. It would take drastic action to prevent it at this point, and not enough people are aware of how serious a problem it is.

Check into why The NFL Indy Colts cut two players in 2023 immediately without comment. One was named McKenzie aka Lil Dirty.

Gee, I wonder what they were doing in the locker room shower.

This effects so much more than sports. People are dying and will die over it.

There is an excellent analysis on the effects of DEI and the resulting competency crisis. I was going to do a post on it, but it fits here.

Interestingly, it was published in June of '23 and especially pointed out the developing DEI related problems with the 737 Max.

It's well worth the read.

Here it is.

The worst part is that DEI proponents don't even follow their own rhetoric; and instead they use DEI to futher their personal narrow goals.

At the conclusion of a recent virtual job interview I was on; I was told not to worry if I didn't hear back from the hiring team for a few weeks; because they still needed to allow more time for DEI candidates to apply and be interviewed.

Wanting to help I explain to the hiring team how as a Disabled person I am a DEI candidate.

Well it got a little awkward after that. Apparently Disabled people weren't on their list of what makes up a diverse work force. The initiative was only in place for Women and POC ... the Disabled need not apply.

as long as they share the same delusions. they really think they are the sane and smart ones, and the rest of us don't get it.

academics, media, Democrats, all live in their insulated safe space world.

The reason for this is none of it is really about what they say it's about. Behind these programs, behind BLM, behind Students for Justice in Palestine, if you look at their founding, you'll find Marxism. They just put lipstick on it to sell it to impressionable young people in the name of "social justice."
