Over 50,000 Christians have been killed in Nigeria since the outbreak of the Boko Haram Islamist insurgency in 2009, a newly-released report published by a Nigerian non-governmental organization has revealed.

According to its findings, over the past 14 years at least 52,250 Nigerian Christians have been brutally murdered at the hands of Islamist militants, more than 30,000 of whom during the eight-year presidency of former Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari, often criticized during his tenure for not doing enough to combat growing insecurity in the country.

You are factually incorrect. AFRICA doesn't murder & enslave people on a massive scale - ISLAM murders & enslaves people on a massive scale. You will never find a Nigerian Christian butchering women & children in the north of the country - it's only ever Christian men & women being murdered & their kids being kidnapped for paedophilia slavery. ISLAM is the perpetrator of the greatest evils this world presently knows. Indeed, it is time for Christians to defend themselves - but if they do that, as others here have said, they will be labelled as instigators & criminals for simply defending their lives & the lives of their children.

To be honest, from a Christian perspective (as a Christian myself) - when your women & kids are being treated like this, you have a moral duty to arm yourselves & protect your community. There is simply no room for turning the other cheek when Islamic militias of raping, butchering, paedophilic monsters rolls into your town or village. It is morally indefensible to say 'Jesus taught us to turn the other cheek'. St Paul admonished us that we only need to live at peace with others if they are living at peace with us. If they treat your community the way these Islamic militias are behaving, then they are not living at peace with you, thus peace doesn't depend on you - you therefore must defend yourselves, there is no room for ambiguity here.

Carefully consider what is right in the eyes of everybody. If it is possible on your part, live at peace with everyone.

As you can see from the above quote, these Nigerian Christians are under no divine obligation to live at peace with these marauding monstrosities. They need to arm themselves, and righteously kill the murdering SOBs next time they roll into town.

Seriously, if they are not willing to do that, then it is a moral failure on their part. God does not permit you to roll over like a sick dog & await destruction at the hands of evil men.

It was years ago, almost ten actually and she's passed on, but I appreciate the offer. I have slowed played revenge here and there over the years though.
