Judge Leonie Brinkema of the Eastern District of Virginia wrote “At least five additional federal courts have concluded that citizens attempting to disqualify individuals — including former President Trump — from participating in elections or from holding public office based on the January 6, 2021 attack on the United States Capitol lacked standing.” The Judge continued, “Plaintiffs have totally failed to demonstrate how their alleged injuries are traceable to the conduct of defendants.”
Axelrod thought this effort just helped to support Trump — that he was only being strengthened by all this.
Axelrod believed these efforts have backfired, “We’ve run this experiment, he’s only gained since he started getting indicted.”
“What you thought might be kryptonite for him has turned out to be battery packs, and this is a big one for him,” Axelrod said.
He made it very clear that he had "very, very strong reservations about all of this.”
“I do think it would rip the country apart if he were actually prevented from running because tens of millions of people want to vote for him. I think if you’re going to beat Donald Trump, you’re going to probably have to do it at the polls."

...I wouldn't be surprised to see Covid 23 take over the news this fall.

amazingly enough, I think a lot of us have been saying the very same thing.
If people could just separate their hate for Trump from their logical thinking, they might realize that running a better candidate was and will be the best way to beat Trump.
Look at all the choices on the GOP side. Before the debates, they all looked good. Now, it seem Desantis and Haley are stand outs, but a long way behind Trump. The rest are just a distraction. But there are choices. The best Biden can do is point to Harris and say, at least I'm not that bad. They eliminated anyone else from even trying. And while they might be able to slide in some surrogate, that window is very small and closing rapidly.
I'd be fine with most choices we have. None of them are Biden. I'm not locked into Trump, but knowing what we can expect from him, makes him a safer bet than an unknown. It all comes down to, can you put up with his personality? If so, no worries, if you are hung up on "gab em by the Pussy", you are going to have a bad time.

I don't agree with that.
The only people that like Haley are Wall St and defense contractors.
DeSantis's campaign has been a clown show. The only people backing him now are establishment RINOs.
Vivek is the only candidate that seems to understand what the America First people want.
who asks a question like that? an 'activist' whose only goal is to make a Republican / conservative look bad.
I'm still on the fence regarding DJT (have been for a long time). I'm still not sure that he's not part of the overlord cabal. There are a few things that make me wary of him, including his unwavering promotion of the poison shot as some kind of modern miracle that he fathered, his unwavering support of Israel, the fact that Hillary never went to jail (a campaign promise of his, IMO), his recently floating Haley as a possible running mate ... etc.
Either they are really that scared of him, or they are trying to drive him into our arms so that once installed he can do their bidding. I'm still not sure which.
One last thought; if they slip in Michelle at the last minute she'll win by a landslide. JMHO.
