Do you mean obama socialist marxism. that is the bases of the democratic party goal for America, but right now the government is almost there, they are the biggest employers of the US that makes it a centralized government.

How is that working for the poor.

Obama just got it started, Trump got in the way, now biden is back at it.

Racism will never be eliminated until the democrats are eliminated from politics.

You got the gist of it.
I was driving when I posted that.
When I looked at it an hour or so later I saw the word "balanced" and thar was an auto correct.
But I could not make sense of it and could not remember the word I actually used.
I got impatient and had to get driving again so just left it.
You explained it better thank you.
Sorry for the confusion.
It confused me

I think it's the upcoming younger generations that will decide how they want their society to be going forward, not Musk and certainly not the older generations.

I believe "they" know this and that's why the youth are the main target of these DEI agendas.

I work for a very large global multibillion dollar company and DEI is not going anywhere. I run multimillion dollar pursuits for a business unit within this organization and we have a robust, growing DEI program that we are investing millions in, with a growing commitment - no signs of any slowdown. Every single pursuit I've worked on - for US Fortune 500s and for global corporations - asks about our DEI stats and actually weighs our numbers when evaluating our proposals and whether they will hire us. DEI is not going anywhere. It's also not discriminating against anyone - I don't understand the outrage? I've read every page of this and hear a lot of fear and confusion. I have a feeling not a lot of you are in actual large workplaces with DEI programs and officer in place/know what DEI actually is or does?

You don't think hiring a guy just because he's a new version of "non-binary" over someone who has experience and sadly happens to be normal is an issue? I get that folks sometimes need a helping hand, but this is dumbing down the entire system and it's already an issue and will only get worse from here. I'm glad I'm close to the golden parachute and don't have to play in clown world. I get to view it from a safe distance. Honk Honk sir.

That's not really how it works though. A less qualified person doesn't get the job. Two equally qualified people, all other things being equal but the characteristic being tracked for DEI purposes, are evaluated and one offered the job. Where, in the past, statistically jobs tended ... and kept... going more to one group, leading to underrepresentation of other groups in the workforce, now the corporate world is trying in a systemic way to backfill the underrepresented in the corporate world - especially at the leadership levels- so there is more representation of the "real" world in the corporate workforce when they are at clients. It's a money maker and they are spending billions on it.

so you feel being forced to hire based on race is a move forward?

We are regressing, and it's being cheered on by pseudo intellectuals.

eta:
how much money did your company give to BLM? If they did donate, do they still feel that was a smart expenditure?

“However, a 2023 study by global consulting firm DDI offers a much bleaker picture: the number of companies with DEI programs has dropped 33% since 2020, and across the board, leaders are less optimistic about their organization’s progress in key DEI practices.”
www.reworked.co...

“But after a 55% increase in DEI roles in 2020, job attrition rates have been high. In fact, a third of diversity professionals found themselves out of a job in the 2022 calendar year.”
nypost.com...

“DEI begins to disappear. Starting in late 2020 -- months after the killing of Floyd set off a racial reckoning -- a host of companies escalated cuts of DEI professionals, a survey of more than 600 companies from data firm Revelio Labs found. Last year, the layoffs accelerated significantly, the study found.”
abcnews.go.com...

“The most notable include Amazon, Twitter, Meta, Microsoft, and Refin. Twitter, for example, has drastically reduced its DEI team from 30 employees to 2. This represents a departmental decrease of over 93%. Twitter employees also claim that leadership has stopped setting long-term DEI goals.”
factorialhr.com...

Many such cases.
Hope you don’t go down with the ship, because it is indeed sinking.
Good luck.
