U.K. Green Party in danger of fracture over LQBTetc

There is quite a lot to unpack in the article but it seems the Green Party has ideologicked itself into a quandary. Essentially the Green Party Women (GPW) an internal group within the Party has been disavowed because of what is being termed a procedural matter by the Party executive.

The GPW however said it is not procedural but is in fact down to it holding "Gender Critical" views by believing gender reassignment does not change a person's sex and therefore women only spaces should not be open to trans or non-binary.

The Green Party policy is basically everybody is entitled to be whatever they believe themselves to be and gender specific spaces should be open to anyone who believes they are of that gender or none at all. This in turn has led to the GPW branding the Party as Misogynistic ( yeah that's right) which is a disaster for a party that is a proponent of equal rites

Meanwhile the LGBTQP+ plus wing of the Party has accused the GPW of transphobia, gaslighting and bullying.

Oh dear, oh dear.

In today's circus world is there anything more hilariously tragic than a woolly minded collective tearing itself apart with its own pathological inclusiveness?

Similar things happen world wide to other green parties, too. That is what happens when one bases their whole party on one ideology. My observations here in Europe are very similar.

The green party here now got a say in things and they screw up everything royally. Because they got a say in the climate politics being voted in by city people, now they have to have an oppinion on everything else.

This is why you see Greta Thunberg lamenting about the poor Hamas and then people freaking out on stage ripping the microphone away from her saying they do not want political stuff on their rallies. Because all the green party ever was about and is supposed to be about, is not compatible with the rest of politics.

Like LGBTQ community, they dropped their core values to gather more momentum through fringe groups and that fired back big time.
