Problems with Atlantis as a Island
The problems with Atlantis being a island has to be that of the construction of Atlantis, most of the time, Atlantis is depicted to be constructed out
of some stone/rock, but in Timaeus and Critias, it isn't specified what type of stone/rock was used in the construction of Atlantis, therefore
leading more questions as to how Atlantis was to be constructed.
Atlantis' structural integrity is commonly depicted to be upheld by some rock and or stone, but does it hold up correctly to Atlantis' destruction?
In order for the effect of the destruction to happen to Atlantis, but of course, the causation of this destruction to Atlantis is not mentioned, only
just the biblical Flood as to how the destruction of Atlantis happended, but even in the Table of Nations in the Bible, there is not a single
civilization called Atlantis, nor is there any record of a flood legend from the survivors of the supposed Atlantic flood.
Of course there were fishers in Atlantis, pumping out the fishing industry into a collective enjoyment, but how much of the fishing industry in
Atlantis was even regulated whatsoever? To find out, we have to look at the structure of Atlantis, most of its depictions are that of 3 circles, all
of them at least make entrances or exits to any land or water sources, and the problem with Atlantis' structure is the fact that most of the
structural building is within water, meaning that there could be possible predators within the water, most of the time there wasn't anybody even
regulating what was supposed to be in the waters and what wasn't supposed to be in the waters, most of the time, these fishers were amateur citizens
who didn't even have jobs to regulate the safety of the waters, and by now, there would probably be a fisher or a amateur citizen to be killed by a
predator lurking in the waters.
The Richat Structure: The Anti-Psyop of Atlantis
The Richat Structure is an eroded geological dome within the Adrar Plateau, near Oudane, that is about 40 kilometres (or 25 mi) in diameter, exposing
sedimentary rock in layers that appear as concentric rings.
Now, the interesting thing about the Richat Structure is the possible involvement of Ouadane, a small town/commune in the desert region of central
Mauritania, also situated on the southern edge of the Adrar Plateau, almost 93 kilometers northeast of Chinguetti, and a prominent post in the
trans-Saharan gold trade and for caravans transporting slabs of salt from the mines at Idjil.
The early ethnic history of Ouadane is sort of unknown, yet it is known for short that the town of Ouadane mostly prospered from the trans-Saharan
gold trade, which the gold trade in particular either has/had a mix of African ethnic groups, which probably did migrate to the Richat Structure in
order to make a settlement for gold trading, which after some time, was either abandoned or left to rot because there were no people, and of course,
there was water for the inhabitants of the Richat Structure, either from rain water or wadi, or even more exceptionally, from the Richat Structure
itself.
Yes, the part about the water from the Richat Structure itself is true — according to a 2012 study about the Richat Structure (Paleo-environmental
Study of the Quaternary Sediments of Guelb and Richât (Adrar of Mauritania) with Respect to Neighboring or Associated Sites of the), there were
confirmed to be well-perserved freshwater fossils within the Richat Structure, quite possibly reinforcing the historicity of the Richat Structure
being Atlantis in itself.
Now, about the Richat Structure's structural integrity. It is quite the most plausible structural integrity for Atlantis, and here are the criteria
of it being plausible;
- closeness to the structure of Atlantis
- no predators in the water whatsoever
- freshwater fossils reinforcing the no-predator effect
- non-fallacious end
