Very sad news for the musical world and a loss to me as Geordie has long been one of my favorite guitarists. One of the most original artists whose trademark sound was immediately identifiable as his own. I doubt KJ will continue without him.

Very sad news.
I've seen Killing Joke a few times live, excellent band.
Geordie Walker had a unique playing style that helped Killing Joke develop their own particular sound.
Along with John McGeoch probably the most identifiable guitarists from that genre and era.

All very talented and intelligent people who complemented each other so well.
Not afraid to push boundaries and do it their way.

A sad loss.

My favourite Killing Joke track.

What a weird coincidence as I recently got into their music.
It was just three days ago I remembered their name and looked them up to get a sense of their
style and got hooked right away and only a day later he dies.
Strange.

ONE of my favorites and one we covered in some bands I was in. I love the tribal feel of it. Couldn't help but dance while playing guitar to it. Other favorites are Empire song, Dos Requiem, Asteroid, Age of Greed...screw it - there's too many!

Revelations is a great album, listened to my vinyl copy just a few weeks ago.

First KJ song I ever heard was the The Hum on college AM radio. I was hooked from then on. I only got to see them once in DC touring w/ the drummer for Prong Ted Parsons. Dave Grohl stood behind me in the crowd.

I'm sure I saw them first back in 83 at a venue in Durham.
I think it was when Raven had just replaced Youth.

I saw them again about 10 years ago or so in Newcastle, original line-up.

They were great both times.
