The Face Matches The Description

I would've posted this in the Posse Comitatus forum, but 500 posts is a lot for a new member. There's music involved, so it's all good!

In 2016, singer/songwriter J. Cole, one of my favorite artists, had his studio home in North Carolina, where he made music, raided by a SWAT team due to discriminatory and/or racist neighbors and their falsified police report.

Here is a quote from the news article.

"According to producer Elite, J. Cole’s Dreamville studio in North Carolina was raided by a SWAT team in March, after his neighbors reportedly told authorities that drugs were being made/sold in the building. Cole and his associates were in Austin for SXSW at the time of the raid. In an interview with Complex, Elite explained the incident. “One of the neighbors told the police we were growing weed or selling drugs out of this house,” he said. “And there was a huge investigation, like a million-dollar investigation. They flew helicopters over, sent an entire SWAT team armed with weapons, broke down the door and searched the whole house.”

The SWAT team did not find drugs, guns, pornographic images/videos, or kidnap victims chained in the basement. Damn, maybe next time you swines!

I'm glad J. Cole wasn't home at the time, they might've merc'd him while he was reaching for a wallet, cellphone, or pack of smokes, and claimed he was reaching for a weapon.

I live in a gated community and we're all white. My neighbors falsified a police report too and I was subsequently raided. There was no battering ram, the police had the decency to knock, and there were half as many police, 6 instead of 12, who entered my home, all kitted out and ready to go bing, bang, boom. After I answered the door, they identified who they were and why they were there. I identified who I was and I heard one of them say, the face matches the description.

I can relate to J. Cole and his music, that's why I chose this forum name, NeighborhoodWatch, among other reasons.
