I don't remember anyone crying cancel culture over Bud Light. I remember people pointing out the hypocrisy that the Right cries everytime someone gets canceled for saying some bigoted # and then doing the same thing over something very benign.
The difference between the two is that these corporations have a legal obligation to their shareholders. If association with Twitter threatens their stock value then it is their responsibility to cut ties.
Here, we have multimillion dollar advertising contracts being pulled (which is fine)
I wonder if they'll also deplatform the app

If you can't handle the heat stay out of the Kitchen, never understood the concept of antisemitism? If I dare say Whiteism I am bad now?
Personally I do not like any 'Ism' to be honest, it's not American and rubs my rhubarb in the wrong way.

Musk is more saying that he's going to sue Media Matters for posting the article that led to all of these advertisers leaving. At no point in his notice does he actually refute the content of the article, he just cries about how Media Matters is being mean to him.
Far from the free speech advocate he claims to be, Musk is a bully who threatens meritless lawsuits in an attempt to silence reporting that he even confirmed is accurate. Musk admitted the ads at issue ran alongside the pro-Nazi content we identified. If he does sue us, we will win.
