Didn’t the Germans and Finn’s use pervidin, I believe that’s what it was called just German engineered meth.

The active ingredient in "Pervitin" is methamphetamine.

The key difference being that "Pervitin" specifically refers to a brand name, while methamphetamine is a generic term for the chemical compound.

I read years ago that Captagon doesn't spike blood pressure like most speed.

From what I read yes they lapped it up. There was a book somewhere recently about the Reich being totally off their heads on speed. Even before the war the drug was marketed as an enhancement to cleaning one's home. Making cleaning a little more interesting
