Shame the people in charge dont realize if you max out your credit cards you cant afford more debt and even card companies will stop giving you the benefit of the doubt.

Don't you just love how they call not spending as much as they planned to spend a deficit reduction? In my book, a deficit reduction is paying off some of that loan, not just increasing it a little less.

Yeah. The "Loans" (government treasury notes etc) get paid off on a schedule that's never been missed (I think). The wild ass binge spending gets funded by recirculated taxes and new "Loans" from new treasury note issues.

this shows neither party gets it, that they aren't listening to what these credit rating agencies are saying. its the partisan hostage taking of the economy that's the problem, both parties use the threat of shutdowns to force their policies through, people dont like not being paid and could care less what party does what. there's a simple solution yet neither party has proposed so you cant put all the blame on just Democrats, if either party actually cared to do their job they would've gotten rid of the debt ceiling like many other nations to prevent exactly this situation.

Because political parties are an industry, creating a market where Billions are spent on trying to just WIN.

The campaigns have already started with the debates...if you can call that cluster **** a debate.

It's really about the money and ideologies come in a distant second. Blessed to get my tiny piece of the pie as a media geek.
