SAD,

Johnson's dead and Petgrave changed his life forever.

It looked intentional to me....

UPDATE
A man was arrested in the death of a hockey player whose neck was cut with a skate blade during a game

Who is Matt Petgrave? The hockey player involved in the fatal Adam Johnson hit

English police made an arrest on suspicion of manslaughter in connection with the death of Johnson.

It has not been announced who was arrested in connection with Johnson’s death due to UK laws.

Petgrave, 31, was given a standing ovation by fans at the Steelers’ Nov. 12 game, though he did not play.

Unless Petgrave issues a statement of intent, I cannot see how this was anything but a horrible accident.
Despite video slowdowns.

I wouldn't say murder, but he didn't accidently do a double kick towards the mans face.

He's a # head player who tries to make up for lack of skill by being overly aggressive, typical behavior for such, manslaughter.

yet retard white people gave him a standing ovation because racisms.

That standing ovation is...well...weird. To say the least.
Not sure about the racism claim. I don't pay much attention to hockey at that level.

Doesn't that level of hockey have a Player Safety Panel or something like the NHL to review this stuff.....ya know hockey experts?

Well if you dont want to appear as a racist you can't criticize someone of another color per all these outlets that first covered this, saying he did it on purpose was a ruse by racists....

Me, I'm thinkin who gives a # about race.

Who in the hell thinks its any where near an acceptable idea to kick at other grown men w a blade on your foot when you are professional athlete, its not like you are awkward on your skates since its your first time.

Everything was intentional.

Now I doubt he intended to kill him but he did intend to make contact with him.

Watch other clips of him being overly aggressive in the sport hence why doesn't play in the NHL and had to go to some b league team in the UK.

hmmmmmm...thanks for posting .......so I did more looking around...

a dirty player, eh???????
Fans won't forgive Matt Petgrave and show another video showing him being a dirty player

After he attempted to walk off the injury by getting to the medical bench, he collapsed on the ice and later died from the wound and the world reacted with heartbreak and anger to the incident, with the latter emotion still being directed to Petgrave.

It comes after a moment's silence and minute's applause at the Steelers game at the Utilita Arena on November 12. Some have interpreted the applause as for Petgrave, and have commented it's in bad taste claiming that he was a dirty player throughout his career.

"I coached Matt for a very short stint. I wanted to get rid of him immediately," Elmo Aittola, an ex-coach of Petgrave, said to Ilta Sanomat. "He has no respect for himself or his opponents. He used to get into a bit of a mess. He is a very dirty player."

One wonders if he ever had NHL aspirations and if his dirty playing kept him in this lesser league.
I saw some GM say he was misunderstood or some such.

I've seen dirty players in the NHL. They are not misunderstood.
His career should be over. Whether he "does hard time" or not.
I hope England allows civil suits and the family of the deceased get some satisfaction.

Accidents happen but from what little of the incident I saw... was not a hockey play was not an accident.

People have had similar injuries in the nhl but it was clearly an accident, guy gets blasted unexpectedly taken off his skates and a leg comes up kind of thing.

Problem is they will never proven intent, manslaughter is probably the best they can get... and yea UK punishment I dont expect much.

The only good thing is that should be the end of petgrave on skates outside of a beer league.
