Fear mongering is such a cry... and private enterprise through association and investment that lobby to keep the American public blind deaf and dumb to what is the public as a housing and health care that was enacted as law based on income and scale that the minimum wage is based off of... in not using it and seeking the private? Everyone is poor broke or rolling in it laughing at both ends.

Anytime such a thing is brought up? It gets called communism instead of public and when public gets attached? Oh no the shame for what everyone has worked for and could be better as free housing, healthcare, food, and education but no we prideful bigots want to denigrate everyone as if we didn't earn all of that and want to keep suffering each other and our-self(individual as claimed on taxes) a fool.

When the government owns it the government controls it, that's never good. It's better with small mom & pop businesses. Even big corporate businesses become soulless and impossible to deal with.

One look at NK tells enough. Even if the system is different in NK than in old school communism, the end goal and result its the same : the people suffer and the government owns/controls all.

Mom and pop businesses were always doomed with the trajectory of where markets were going. People complained about sears and home depot or toys r us, hence why investment legend Peter Lynch became so successful, he saw how people's spending habits were and knew the mom and pop models were on their way out. He didn't care about people complaining, he saw it as a lead.

Amazon, Walmart, etc just boosted their models to reach everyone. I could go to the local bike shop for example and buy a bike from there, or I could just test out the bike and then buy it off Amazon for cheaper and get it delivered right to my house. Spending habits can be dictated, and so can voting patterns and habits in the same way.

I think a major driving factor behind 15 minute cities is that EV's are not going as planned. There hasn't been an expected revolution in battery technology and EV's are either going to be much more expensive than normal cars or sad tiny things that drive half as fast and don't have much range.

With fossil fuels becoming more expensive, what do you do? Well if you don't have a replacecment technology you have to redesign your national infrastructure.

No more commutes. Private vehicle ownership will be replaced with 15-minute cities and mass transporation if you do need to travel long distance.

Of course the elites will still have their yachts and private jets. Different rules.

They have actually been planning UN “sustainable communities” for many years now. Glen Beck even write a fictional book which actually demonstrated what those communities may look like, but it was based on the implications of Agenda 21 already in motion. I’m sure the ev thing just dovetails on top of that.

Some people still believe in communism, but what they really believe in is the supreme leader. America is far from becoming a commie (failed)state(I'm from Venezuela),,but it can achieve the same results with other means. Means to an end. destruction of the middle class is a priority

They want very much to take away the guns from private citizens. Look at how many times they say it. Look at the Prez recently took advantage of a recent shooting incident.
It they still have to find workarounds of the Second Amendment, which came into being for a reason.
The communist activities in the US is a bit like the squirrels that build their nests under the hood of cars.
It has been developing now fur decades. Did you know that at the time Obama became Potus, there were up to around 70 members of the Democratic Socialists of America already in Congress? Then there was Bernie Sanders, who pretty much was a card carrying communist a ways back, was a member of Congress and posed as a “Democratic Socialist” or a “Social Democrat” as a kind of sugar coating when he really had a hard communist background. Yet, he has several large homes.
Socialism requires the capitalist system to run because it is largely unsustainable without it. Also both Lenin and Karl Marx stated that end goal of socialism is communism.
It has been happening while everyone is at the football game.
Maybe you have heard of Fabian Socialism or the Fabian Society. Their goal is to bring socialism by increments do that it is not as noticeable, then you wake up one day and… squirrels nests under the hood.
