Dudes, are bass players humans? I'd argue that singers are less than human, ego and all that. How many it takes to screw in a lightbulb, and all that.

Geddy is bad ass at all he does so have fun with this.

I don't think that they (bass players) start out that way, but becoming less human over time seems to be an occupational hazard for bass players. Funny how different instruments can be associated with different personality types.

Tony Levin doesn't seem human to me.

I have a cousin in a fairly popular NY band who plays bass say something recently about how he's likely alien.
