Clone

Ok, so if they have the actual roswell alien preserved and it is indeed not a hoax. Why not create a clone?

Does the same species have to create the clone of that species? I'm guessing yes since different organisms have different chromosome numbers

Unless aliens are hermaphrodidic, you couldn't make a true clone. If they are compatible with humans or other eathly animals (which should be impossible), then you'd end up with some ungodly hybrid that would die soon after birth. Next, freezing an organism damages it quite a bit, and it's DNA would still decompose.

The next question is...why would they do it?
