Imagine Hizbollah using a UAV to spray chemicals on a Israeli city? The Israeli military would go Insane.

I would bet my bottom doller (which is close to what Ive got) that terrorist groups like Hizbollah are looking into buying these UAVs and Im sure Iran or China would be happy to sell them equipped for chemical warfare....for the right price.

It is pretty easy, I have a camera system hooked up to my Trainer, with a PDA +GPS strapped up to a circuit board. It isn't hard, I am more of a programmer than an electronics fella, but it wasn't too hard to set my system up.

I just don't think that at the minute UAVs or RC UAVs are just not capable at the minute of carrying an EFFECTIVE payload, that includes Chemical weapons and DIY nukes. I would be more worried than a stray Cessena than a small UAV.

Six years have past since you started this trend. Now it has come home to rost. I posted my comments on a model website called RCUniverse and told the readers how this is not science fiction but reality. From the replies I received I was the bad guy for telling other potentional terriorist how the electronics work. Nothing top secret all components can be purchased off the shelf from numerous commerical vendors throughout the world.

A stolen plane off an unmanned airport, with the door removed to let the pilot bailout, some timed incendiaries, and one man could burn California off of the map in 1 night, in dry season. Just drop one every 5 miles as he flies 700 miles along the coast, and when that sea breeze came in the next morning, the State of CA would not exist within 48 hours. Set the plane on autopilot, aim it out to sea, and bailout, some place where you've previously stashed an off road bike. What could/can you do about it? Nothing, and CA is 10% of the US economy. when it starts taking 10% from the rest, cause they have no oilfields, no ports, no food, no shelter, that will destroy the USA. There are many other such possible moves, doable by one man, nobody needs to know, so nobody can rat the guy out.
