I see you re-joined basically the same day it happened? What do you think is going on?

I was still logged in to the old/password but things were going wonky. When I logged out and tried to get in, it didn’t work but others had created posts by then.

My opinion of what happened.. lots of possibilities.
Owner made a change and a mistake happened

Maybe ABC… really runs this site and now it’s basically a bunch of old farts chatting at the water cooler so they have moved to greener (younger pastures) basically other sites that are more of a “problem”.
Perhaps they just dumped the site and those that knew what to look for exploited that… which is ironic, because it’s obviously the younger crowd.

So sad....

I used to get up real early and rush to my ATS mailbox to get my Warnings, post removed for T&C, off topic removed, from DTOM. I know she hated me, but her efforts made me feel so alive, vibrant and important. At least I still have the memories.

Some mods were much more keen on off topic post removals.

I get that derailing threads is a bad thing, but is a bit of banter really so bad?

I miss the old Banter Cafe a lot. Sausage sarnies (with marmalade, of course).

Yeah, so do I....most of my reprimands were disserved granted, but she made it clear what she thought of me personally.

I'm not sayin I received preferential treatment, but that's what it felt like. Long ago I dated a mod when she was on vacation. She told me how it works....they can't keep a secret in the mod hut. I was still banned, even with her support. Those were the good old days!!
