I tried to have a conversation with you but you didn’t want to answer any questions I asked you in order to continue said conversation you’re now saying you wanted, all I got was you deflecting like you always do Terry. Yeah I know which way you lean, I’ve been here for about 20 yrs, 14 of it with my last screen name. We’ve actually had quite a few conversations for whatever it’s worth. OK, I'm back because I did not know that means what you say it means and it's unfortunate that we had that miscommunication. To me it just meant I was finished at that point.

Yes, I get it that you were not stalking me as you likely have much better things to do. I have been stalked around here a few times in the past so am wary of it.

A few posts ago I said I did not want to go into an answer and that was because I had to go to bed due to an early morning event. When I came back I was ready to reply to you when I read s short conversation you were engaging in with another member about my lack of logic and I suppose perspective. Recall that?

That aside though, I will try to explain how I view this all. I don't think we are getting out of this mess. Stark, I know, but it is my summation. Argue with it if you want, and that's fine because the ramifications of the perspective I hold are numbing. And that I admit.

As a young adult, early twenties I had a lot of hope. I had a promising future that ended up with having my name put on a CIA watch list that prevented me from future employment in my chosen field. It rocked my world and turned it upside down. I spun around for a year or so until I met a pretty young woman who invited me to dinner. She was a Moonie and I ended up exploring the world from that perspective for four years

I extricated myself with great effort and decided that I needed to know just how it was that I was duped. I studied into the topic of cults which at that time in the early 70s was not all that much. But I also began to be very wary of anyone who would seek to sway me from my own mind. As I grew older I found that cults are not restricted to religious groups but a variety of other things as well. And I watched because i had also learned of the gullibility not only my self but of masses of people as well.

The major thing I learned about cult leaders, from reading about them and the groups they lead AND from my own experience is that cult leaders tell their followers whatever it takes to keep them in line and following. And yes, I recognize these aspects of Biden and Obama. But Neon, for me those guys only checked some of the boxes. Trump checks them all.

So, I hope you see that for me, the policies he espouses are not the issue, it's the man himself. You can call this my bias and I get that if that is how you want to see it. You can say that my logic is faulty if you want but from my perspective this guy is a charlatan. The logic is straight forward.

So when I say we are not getting out of this I mean it. Our sciences, our leaders, our immature emotions, our death dealing weaponry, our totally inadequate economic systems, none of it demonstrates a path forward for us. We are too interwoven as a global society.

And that global society? So many are fighting against it's coming, but reality as I see it is it is already here. It's all a house of cards that the timbers are shaking.

So my earlier answer to your question of Biden or Trump when i answered one is doom sooner or later and the other sooner, i was serious. I hope this brief bio is something that helps you and I to at least communicate better going forward.

I will attempt to reply as politely as I can. You seem to have a different opinion on what was going on with that odd little moment in a Trump speech. I looked at his face and understood that he was not just attempting to uplift the crowd, which of course he was because that is part of his shtick, entertaining. But more, he was directing attention to his own sense of self-genius at recognizing the juxtaposition of the spelling of the word ''us'' and the symbolic nature of the U.S.

Now, as I said, you likely have a different opinion on that bit, and I guess that is what it is. However you decided to make a reply to my previous reply to you and that itself must say something.

I note that your reply comes to this thread two weeks after that reply was posted. That is interesting. You also did not discuss the topic as posted but merely extended a slur not at the content of the post but rather directly at myself.

One you claim I need help. Can you understand how cliche that slur is? It's sooooooo common. Then as well, you admonish me with another hackneyed slur of TDS. Well, see that as you wish but I would like to point out to you that your reply to make that slur comes two weeks after what you were replying to. A quick look at your posting history over that period shows that you have not been on vacation from ATS but have been active throughout the period.

So, for your own reasons, you chose to come back to this thread to make a slur. This suggests to me, that you yourself, may be suffering from TDS. Even as TDS may be a mental illness so often associated with people of left or moderate leanings in regards to Trump it is also, and more so, an affliction living in the heads( like how I inserted another favorite slur here) by those who so strongly favor Trump regardless of all the examples of his ridiculousness provided to them.
