The two-time Oscar-winning actor, 64, took to the stage for the first time since being acquitted of sexual assault charges in London in July.
The “House of Cards” alum performed a monologue at the Sheldonian Theatre, an architectural jewel inside the heart of the University of Oxford, from the play “Timon of Athens” written by William Shakespeare in the early 1600s.
Spacey was introduced to the audience by British author, political commentator and Post columnist Douglas Murray, who had just finished giving a lecture on the damaging effects of cancel culture in honor of the late Sir Roger Scruton, an English philosopher, writer and social critic who died in January 2020 at 75

The cancel culture has failed to cancel Kevin Spacey who is a charismatic actor by all metrics but has raised an issue described well by Douglas Murray. In times where support was needed it seems that Spacey was abandoned by friends and colleagues and he found himself without a job, without a life, and with a destroyed reputation. Of course he did have plenty of support from his fans but it's a real shock when everyone you know abandons you on the basis of a range of unsubstantiated accusations.
Kevin Spacey was acquitted of all 9 charges of sexual assault, having pleaded not guilty, in a trial that lasted for approximately a month and took place in London at the end of June this year. Spacey was found guilty (sometimes) in the court of public opinion and in the various media trials, something not new in our times.
Not that long time ago Cliff Richards had gone through the same process of cancellation, media trials and the usual condemnations, was accused of sexual assault but at the end was found not guilty. However the damage was done just like in this case.

So those photos of him partying with Clinton and Epstein weren't addressed? I'll tell you another couple of somebody's that are eerily quiet and subdued, those are Chris Tucker and Tom Hanks. The list is long but these two haven't publicly addressed their connections to the "pizza parlor" even with photo evidence placing them within that circle.
