I missed the memo, and the FAX machine is broken

So this happened. I was gone for a weekend and all Hell breaks loose.

I still have no idea what exactly transpired, all I know is the following:


There is some sort of simulation cult impersonating impersonators who are impersonating real people, everyone had to start fresh, there's a handful of spammers that just keep regurgitating the same stuff over and over, cussing is the new cool thing to do, there are MASSIVE accusations flying around (by a few of said spammers that came out of nowhere), not a mod in sight, bible thumpers, everyone is apparently homo now (according to spammers), everyone is confused, nobody has a noticeably straight answer, most people disappeared altogether (hopefully that's only temporary), and we are currently running adjacent to a sh!t slinging forum until further notice.

And here I thought having a beer and a cheeseburger for breakfast at 730 AM was going to set up today to be good. I was apparently mistaken.

Anyway, I'm dothedew#2. Much like the original, but slightly better because I'm new and improved with the #2 in my name.

Nice to meet everyone again. Not so much the new, weird, cultists and spammers.

The ATS faithful just gotta keep starring comments that are constructive, not reply to the trolls and keep posting quality topics.

Conspiracy theorists are resilient from years of ridicule, especially after 2020.

We'll get through this.

Welcome back. Bible thumper here, lol. It sounds like you got the gist of it, but you missed a few details. There seems to be much debate as to rather the site was hacked (and by who) or if the current owners or IT guys accidentally (or purposefully) corrupted or damaged something. Just be careful what you click, don't feed the troll, and let's get to posting meaningful content and try to put this train back on the tracks so that thr powers who be find it worthy of repairing.

It's a fascinated case study on the WhatsApp generation and the potential harmful affects of social media on an as yet, fully developed mind.

P. S. I'm looking forward to the responses posted to this (purely for entertainment purposes).

It's been a wild Monday, that's for sure.

I'm going to stay close to this as everything unfolds to see what happens and what comes of everything.
