Obviously we know something has happened.
Be wary of how you post. It's likely folks are keeping tabs of who is doing what. And even though most of what I have seen is harmless fun, there will be moderation on this site again.
There is a likelihood posts from this time will be hunted down and potentially people will be dinged or removed.

I would like to believe the mods and admins would give a grace time, but there is certainly no requirement to do so.

I think anything we said as a reply to the hacker should be forgiven, and I hope it will, because I said things to him that I'll never take back. Otherwise, your caution is noted and appreciated.

You know who the Hacker is?

I certainly see folks I would account as suspects. But I'm not sure any of us know the truth as of yet.
Which kind of goes for the aspect of this website.

I have seen accounts banned in the last few days, which makes me wonder if there are some admin powers that were able to work while things were messed up, or if someone has old access, but has not come forward to state what has happened.

I agree totally! The hacker, whoever it is, is ruining everything about this site. I'm so pissed at what they have already done and what they continue to do. They have no shame or guilt, so neither will I. If I get banned, oh well. There are other places to go, and this site isn't the see all and be all. You fight fire with fire.

Don't worry, we have everything under control.

I don't have an avatar anymore. Not worth the effort but the perceptive people know which POS I am.

I would hope that any member who has stooped the disgusting degree of vulgarity that the have would receive a lifetime ban.

I've seen a lot of members on Discord that I once had a great deal of respect for, but no more. Nothing like a stressful situation for people to show their true colors, and there are a lot of ugly people on the internet that have only 'appeared' to be decent folk because of the strict ATS rules.

Nothing has happened here in a long time. Not sure what your trying to preserve by thinking moderation is coming. Just be back to no posts by anyone significant and certain views being deleted because someone who never met me thinks the info will hurt me somehow.

If it goes back, snip me out I'm fine with that. I like this ATS.

The mudpit destroyed any "class" ats once had. It was a little rank before the mudpit but but during the mudpit days, it was a competition as to who could be the most insulting to the most members. And even though the mudpit was moved, the filth remained and expanded.

I'm sure some people have been paying attention and taking notes.

The site may seem like it's full of piss and vinegar, but it may also be full of honey for very specific bees.

We can clearly see who the "peepeepoopoo" posters are. They're political hacks that are angry because opinions they don't like are allowed here. The ethos of allowing bad behavior to maintain some illusion of equity of opinions has failed. This is a wonderful illustration of that failure. You either cut out all the cancer or it continues to spread.

They have free reign to post all the super important political stuff they claim has been suppressed... but instead they're making edgelord obscenity posts and ad homs.

The real reason they're angry is because they've never had the intellectual capacity to back up, understand, or defend, their trite political rhetoric failing the test of producing real world results.

They're essentially writing graffiti in a bathroom stall, like jilted lovers desperate to feel avenged.

The site has been in decline and needed an enema. It seems like it's getting one, deliberate or not. There's no reason not to wipe it clean and roll out a new format now. All the better to have seen more clearly that the political pugilists need to get the axe.

Imagine being so ate the F up over your political team being garbage people that you make rape jokes under a sock account on a forum you don't like. Lol.

Yep I got spoiled, regulations are there for a reason, mods are there for a reason, foul, dirty, nasty behavior does not have room in a place where people share ideas, no need for that.

Rather than make me rejoice it just makes me stay as far as I can from any post that displace that type of behavior.
