No. This is not what happened.

The Supreme Court said it needs to go to lower courts first then be appealed to the Supreme Court before they will here it.

Not sure why so many do not understand this.

That said, the Supreme Court will most certainly hear this case as several states are pushing to have Trump removed from their ballot citing the 14th Amendment.

As I just posted, Colorado's case is moving quickly so my bet they will be the first to rule a definitive yes or no.
