The world community should step in with humanitarian aid but instead gets a carrier group. Glad we are assisting with hostage rescue with our own "buds" but as a whole this should all be about rescuing and relocating (West Bank Anyone) and minimizing death from war time. I want to see no one die but...this is a Flashpoint. Taiwan is next.

No land was stolen. The refugees there never owned it, and if what you suggest is true then Egypt and Jordan stole much more from them so where is the outrage over that then? As to oppression, it is a lose-lose situation for Israel. When Hamas attacks and Israel reacts with military force you and many others scream how bad they are, if they put pressure on them by limiting electricity and other non-military events you and others scream how bad they are, so when Hamas launches 5000 missiles and kills like 2000 innocent men women and children what response do you want?

This is most likely the only future for them. The Muslim countries around them do not even want to lift a finger except for some that want to supply weapons to further their goals against Israel. Maybe once Hamas is gone and full control is in place the Muslim countries could provide aid, infrastructure support, etc to actually change it all.

Becoming citizens of Israel is the best thing that could happen to them. Ask the 20% of Israel's population that are Arab and/or Muslim. They love it there.

The U.S. tried to negotiate the Surrender of Osama bin Laden, with the Taliban.
Now Qatar should hand Ismail Haniyeh over to Israel.

If he is the guy to negotiate hostage release in Gaza, perhaps being in custody may incentive him to do so quickly. That would be a good start.

Many here write the same exact statement as you have as a means to deflect and minimize the situation as yes history does repeat itself. However, technology advances as time marches on makes the situational chaos more dangerous as advanced arms along with the potential use of dirty bombs cheaper and more accessable to those who are radicalized and embedded in the groups comiing over the border.

My post was specifically addressing the Israel-Hamas conflict and their speech has everything to do with free speech and that speech is advocating for peace and love.

I was sent to Congress to save lives, I was not sent to Congress to have my constituent’s tax dollars buy bombs to kill thousands of innocent Palestinian men, women, and children.

We choose peace and love.
