The old are expected to die and the young will be encouraged to leave; that's their idea of a fix.

Curious though, what about propane heating? Would that be a better alternative?

Just in time for a cold winter. They are trying to break people!

Right after the holiday’s is when they are going to do this rate hike.
Here

I love how they ask customers for their input as if that will make any difference at all.
I’m not sure how much more people can take.

I really feel for young folks just starting out and the elderly. How the heck are they coping with all these rising costs.
Yesterday we bought a small bag of rice, it was $14… We used to be able to buy over 20lbs with that. I’m not talking a decade ago either.

Come to the UK Jag if you think those are large increases in rates , my electricity bill went from £300 per year to £1200 yet the price of fuel is the cheapest I have ever seen in years of watching , there were 2 price blips but neither lasted long the first was 6 weeks the next lasted 2 months but the prices customers pay has have hardly moved .

For years natural gas which is used for electricity generation in the UK by a lot of suppliers was always between 130 and 180 a thern , the blips went to 300 and 600 and for the last 8 months was below 100 .

It is the people delivering the gas / electricity that are milking the people in the UK , when you quizz your supplier about their claims of using 80% renewables is the wind or sun charging more , that is their answer ?
