not just the usa but by extension the western world as we see 2 opposing forces in play within the west at the point it needs plurality to confron external threats.. the destruction of all political opposition internally is not going to create that external victory, it'll cede power to the enemies of the west instead..

Supreme Court Deals Blow To Effort To Keep Trump Off The Ballot

The Supreme Court on Monday declined to hear the appeal of a little-known 2024 Republican presidential candidate trying to remove former President Donald Trump from the election ballot.

John Anthony Castro has filed lawsuits in several states claiming Trump is ineligible to hold office under section 3 of the 14th Amendment, which bars officials who took an oath to the Constitution and then “engaged in insurrection” from holding office. He asked the Supreme Court in August to hear his case after a federal district court in Florida dismissed his lawsuit due to lack of standing, a request that the justices have now denied.

Castro argued that without judicial relief, Trump would “siphon off votes” in violation of the 14th Amendment. “Castro will further suffer irreparable competitive injuries if Trump, who is constitutionally ineligible to hold office, is able to attempt to secure votes in primary elections and raise funds,” he argued in his petition. “Trump’s constitutionally unauthorized undertaking will put Castro at both a voter and donor disadvantage.”

The United States Supreme Court will soon determine if former President Donald John Trump can be President again.

The legal debate about whether or not former President Donald Trump should be allowed to appear on the 2024 ballot has made its way before the Supreme Court.

The court distributed John Castro v. Donald Trump to the justices for conference on Wednesday, ahead of the upcoming term, which will begin on October 2nd.

"Conference" is to take place on September 26th, and the case is expected to be decided on or before October 9, 2023.

I dont agree. We have an intrinsic right to protest, but not insurrection.

I believe we have an intrinsic right to challenge elections. I do not believe insurrection has been committed by anyone over the 2020 election.

Is just political stunts by blue hell hole states, the supreme court already rule, is nothing they can do.

On Jan. 6th , then President Trump's Comments to the American People have to Separate the Facts of his speech from the Presumptions of his Context and Intent . He Said ' Peacefully and Lawfully ' . Everything after that that is Supposedly Incitement is Made Up Interpretations by his Antagonists . He can prove he called for Peacefulness . They Cannot Prove his ' Intentions ' Without Claiming to be Mind Readers . Everything he said that Day was his 1st Amendment Right to do so . As for the Claim of Insurrection by the Left , The American People have a Constitutional Right to Question the Way their Elected Representatives Govern this Republic as was their Intent on going to Washington D.C. on January 6th 2020 in the First place , and there to have their Concerns about Obvious Voting Abnormalities Addressed in the Presidential Election by said Elected Representatives . The officials are trying to use some kind of clause barring an insurrectionist from becoming US President.

But as far as I know, there was nobody charged or convicted of "Insurrection".

Anyway, why would Trump supporters or Donald Trump incite an insurrection against the Trump administration?
