Making this post just to have a written record of the thoughts in my head. What I found in the bible is this.

It seems the end times of the bible has a timeline. And at the very end of said timeline is New Jerusalem. And it seems we can base the start of said timeline with the Crucifixion. So here's the prophecies that create this timeline of three thousand years.

First off is the Day of Jezreel prophecy contained in Hosea. Literally the entire book is about Israel and Judah facing a long term top level Leviticus 26 curse. And the following "day of Jezreel". BUT this prophecy gives us the first hint there's a timeline to the madness. 3 day in the presence of the Lord. Here's the specific verses.

Hosea 6
1Come, and let us return unto the LORD: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up.
2After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight.
3Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth.

And then specifically these 2 verses tell us what's meant by the 3 days.

2nd Peter 3
8But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

And.

Psalms 90
4For a thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night.

So then the 3 Days are 3 thousand years. Then Jesus Christ gets into the party with this from John 2

John 2
18Then answered the Jews and said unto him, What sign shewest thou unto us, seeing that thou doest these things?
19Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.
20Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it upin three days?
21But he spake of the temple of his body.

Other references made by him about 3 days.
Matthew 12
38 Then certain of the scribes and of the Pharisees answered, saying, Master, we would see a sign from thee.
39 But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas:
40 For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.

Mark 8
31 And he began to teach them, that the Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders, and of the chief priests, and scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again.

Mark 14
58 We heard him say, I will destroy this temple that is made with hands, and within three days I will build another made without hands.

Mark 15
29 And they that passed by railed on him, wagging their heads, and saying, Ah, thou that destroyest the temple, and buildest it in three days,

Also this snippet from Revelation tells us this.

Revelation 21
22And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.

And that's the timeline of the Bible's end time prophecies. New Jerusalem drops to Earth 3 thousand years from the Crucifixion.

Oh, and now more to add here. The Why of the 2000 year curse. It seems the kerfuffle back in the first century AD was caused by Herod's killing of John the Baptist. Which in Matthew 17 Jesus Christ called Elijah the prophet.

Matthew 17
10And his disciples asked him, saying, Why then say the scribes that Elias must first come?
11And Jesus answered and said unto them, Elias truly shall first come, and restore all things.
12But I say unto you, That Elias is come already, and they knew him not, but have done unto him whatsoever they listed. Likewise shall also the Son of man suffer of them.
13Then the disciples understood that he spake unto them of John the Baptist.

And this was the cause of the curse. See Matthew 14 for the story. And here's the prophecy from Malachi 4 as to why this was so bad.

Malachi 4
5Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD:
6And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.

And so it appears that the curse was 2000 years long according to the 3 days. John the Baptist had unfinished business and was prevented from doing it.

Other stuff to add to this story.
The fig tree parables explained.

Matthew 24
32Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:
33So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.
34Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.
35Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
36But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

It appears to me these fig tree parables were a teaching aid to the disciples that got lost in the mists of time. So I'm going to try to clear up this mystery the best I can.

To start with look at Matthew 13.

Matthew 13.
10And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables?
11He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.
12For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath.
13Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.
14And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive:
15For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.
16But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear.
17For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.
34All these things spake Jesus unto the multitude in parables; and without a parable spake he not unto them:
35That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world.

Isaiah 6
9And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not.
10Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed.
11Then said I, Lord, how long? And he answered, Until the cities be wasted without inhabitant, and the houses without man, and the land be utterly desolate,
12And the LORD have removed men far away, and there be a great forsaking in the midst of the land.
13But yet in it shall be a tenth, and it shall return, and shall be eaten: as a teil tree, and as an oak, whose substance is in them, when they cast their leaves: so the holy seed shall be the substance thereof.

As of Matthew 13 he was aware that he was going to be the one that would smite the earth with a curse. And that adds a whole new light to what happens in Matthew 27. And the reason for the parables. To hide truths from the uninitiated. They hear a story. The initiated see through the story and get to the true meaning of what's being said.

So what's up with the parables of the fig tree? Well they're hiding a truth. What is that truth? Well take what we know of the 3 days now and apply it to this.

Matthew 21
18Now in the morning as he returned into the city, he hungered.
19And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And presently the fig tree withered away.
20And when the disciples saw it, they marvelled, saying, How soon is the fig tree withered away!
21Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.
22And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.

The fig tree dies. But add this parable to the mix.
Luke 13
6 He spake also this parable; A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none.
7 Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground?
8 And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it:
9 And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down.

And also add this from Luke 21.
29And he spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees;
30When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand.
31So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.
32Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled.

More coming.

Wasn't there a red heifer born recently marking the start of the end times?

So to summarize. We know Israel was cursed. The fig tree was cursed. But was going to be given another chance in the next season. Also there's supposed to be more trees by the end times.

So I believe the trees are references back to the prophesies of Genesis 48 and 49. Simply put the fig tree is a nation and the reference to all the trees is the nations predicted to descend from Israel. 13 nations and a multitude of nations.

Now knowing this we can see the truth and the warning hidden by the fig tree parables. The fig tree is Israel. And when you see the next nation of Israel know the end times are near. Even at the door. And Israel has been a nation for 75 years now.

So guys. Welcome to Left Behind. The prologue.

Reread Psalms . . .

Psalms 90:4 "For a thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night."

Consider, "but as yesterday" "as' or "like", "and as a watch in the night" which happens to be a period of four hours. So is one thousand years like a day to God, or a watch in the night (four hours)?

A watch in the night was 4 hours, making a God hour 250 years, or a God day 6,000 years, or a God year 2,190,000 years. With such a formula creation occurs over 36,000 years + 6,000 for the day of rest = 42,000. Now add to this the years since the bible was written.

You need this quote to support this day = 1,000 years theory . . .

Epistle of Barnabas 15:4
"Give heed, children, what this meaneth; He ended in six days. He meaneth this, that in six thousand years the Lord shall bring all things to an end; for the day with Him signifyeth a thousand years; and this He himself beareth me witness, saying; Behold, the day of the Lord shall be as a thousand years. Therefore, children, in six days, that is in six thousand years, everything shall come to an end."

The Epistle of Barnabas is not an accepted source in many Christian sects . . .

It was ultimately omitted from the New Testament canon, although and it was cited by several early Church Fathers as having scriptural authority. Today, it is included in most collections of the Apostolic Fathers.

They have been being born for a while now. Everytime it's news somehow. I bet I've read about 50 born now.

Sounds like 2nd Peter may have picked up that line from Barnabas. Also back in that day of Psalms 90 the Jewish "day" started and ends at sunset. Technically the sun is setting on the 2nd day as of now.

They're just waiting for the Mosaich as of now. And looking at prophecy it seems there was supposed to be a 4th messiah though. Per Zechariah there is 2 branches or companions to the Lord. And each one is predicted to build a temple. And according to the Bible 3 chosen ones have come and gone. The Lord, Elijah the prophet, and one branch that was present when the 2nd temple was built. But that still leaves the 4th. One branch never showed up in the First Century AD. They need the 2nd branch to build the temple. My guess is he appears in the next 3 years.

So sayeth you. But. It's too early to make that statement. Maybe in 50 years if nothing obviously happens. But as I pointed out with my initial post it seems the God of the Jews has a plan. And it has a three thousand year timetable. And per the warnings in Matthew 24 and Revelation when the dual harvests of the wheat and the weeds/tares starts this world will literally change in a day. Hours probably.

years ago somebody did a timeline and concluded that Adam and Eve were created at about 4000 BC according to our calendar.
if a day = 1000 years,
4 days from Adam and Eve to Jesus
2 days to now
1 day, a Sabbath, of rest, to come.

I'm thinking this era is about over. imho God is giving us a few more years of penalty time to repent.
its hard for me to imagine this world going on much longer as it is.

Well, assuming the date of April 4 2033 is the actual 2000th annivsary of the death of Jesus Christ then the 7 year agreement of Daniel 9 should happen in 2026 at the latest.

And the 1000 year reign of the saints or day of Jezreel from Hosea starts in 2033.
