I did and the deadlines were always adjusted because the Project Manager had many varying issues making the original deadline impossible to reach.

So all deadlines were pushed or just a few outliers? If many were pushed then the PMs sucked at their jobs. Let's take this to the school structure do we need to have by pace for all, or just a few outliers?

That pace for all plan would allow the overachievers who finish before all others (like me) to explore other interests, perhaps for extra rewards. The sky's the limit.

If a living wage is granted to everyone, why would anyone be motivated to EARN a living? Who is going to be productive in a system like that? Why? Live the life, sleep, eat, screw, make more useless plants that need to be fed. Im sure we'd get a payment for each kid.

Even cavemen knew, if you don't work, and you aren't a child, or old or crippled, they you don't eat.

What is so difficult about that concept?

To not train a child with this real world reality is child abuse.

So then as soon as they turn 18 and graduate we are going to slap them with all of this and wonder why they are failing and drowning because they didn't learn how to deal with this stuff in school because they had soft ass teachers like you giving them breaks any chance they could?

Their report cards will reflect everything the child needed in the way of guidance and extra tutoring along the way, they won't be left in a vacuum.

If you had it your way they 100% would be

Leniency does nothing but allow rules to be broken, and we all know how much of a slippery slope that is

Where is the leniency when the child's needs are identified and there are plans to address those needs?

So having a difference of opinion is now being on a high horse?

All I am saying is implement these plans and let's see how effect it is in helping kids - instead of doing nothing.

We have discussed one offs and what you have been arguing is not one offs. They are across the board

The use of the word rod does not insinuate abuse

Look up the phrase and get back to me

Find the funding for all schools to implement special treatment for all kids and let us know

This zero grading is not new. Maybe this school board has looked at the pros and cons and has new fixes. We won't know unless they implement the plan and give it the old college try.

Nobody has said it is new?

You want special treatment for all kids who, in most cases, just don't give AF and it's just not possible

The original meaning was indeed associated with spanking or whipping the child otherwise the saying should be spare the discipline, spoil the child. The rod in the bible was the tool used by the shepherd to correct and guide his flock.

There is no way knowing that until this new plan is implemented.
