Whitesnake's Bernie Marsden has passed away age 72

Bernie founded Whitesnake with David Coverdale and Micky Moody in 1978 , he was the creative genius behind many of Whitesnake's best loved songs including "Here I Go Again" and the song that turned me on to Whitesnake "Fool For Your Loving".

It's been no secret that Bernie has been unwell with him cancelling shows this year due to health issues but the news of his death is sad news indeed.

Bernie makes a guest appearance with Whitesnake in 2013.

Very bad news and a sad day went worse, Gortex.
Back to the Beast, I think the only 59 I ever heard
with the same 'throat' was Gary Green's from Gentle
Giant. And those two could play a storm. RIP Bernie.
