" Fulton County prosecutor proposes new Oct. 23 date for Trump trial "

It Will Never take place . Numerous Federal Judges have Now come Out stating that the Fulton County Charges Against Mr. Trump are Ruled Unlawful because as President at the Time of said Incidences President Trump was Protected Under Presidential Immunity from Prosecution .

Really? I knew there were several authorities coming out against nutjob Willis, but since she doesn't have a boss, her actions would not be curtailed.

Due to being driven by hate and fear, it looks like 2 of the 4 cases are slowly imploding. The "classified documents" case is coming apart at the seams too.

That's a funny way to put it when the DOJ just made a filing that one of their witnesses lied to them under oath when they had a Trump provided lawyer, but changed his testimony after getting an independent lawyer. The Trump lawyer then filed a motion saying that the DOJ revealed sealed information in their filing, only for the DOJ to remind them that they wanted to file the information under seal but the judge ordered them to reveal it unsealed.

Woodward's panicking. Which means he probably told Taveras to lie under oath and if Cannon grants the DOJ's request for a Garcia hearing, that information will probably come out.

The legal maneuverings are interesting, an d are largely uncharted territory

from this source:

Five defendants have already sought to move the state case to federal court, citing their ties to the federal government. The first one to file — Mark Meadows, Mr. Trump’s chief of staff during the 2020 election — will make the argument for removal on Monday, in a hearing before a federal judge in Atlanta.

Federal officials charged with state crimes can move their cases to federal court if they can convince a judge that they are being charged for actions connected to their official duties, among other things.

If they argue that they were doing all these things (election interference) because it was their "official duty" then they are going to throw a lot of evidence that Trump was the source of everything (he made them officials of his administration, they act on his behalf, therefore, what they did was because he wanted it.)

Of course they'd like a change of venue:

In the Georgia case, the question of whether to change the venue — a legal maneuver known as removal — matters because it would affect the composition of a jury. If the case stays in Fulton County, Ga., the jury will come from a bastion of Democratic politics where Mr. Trump was trounced in 2020. If the case is removed to federal court, the jury will be drawn from a 10-county region of Georgia that is more suburban and rural — and somewhat more Trump-friendly. Because it takes only one not-guilty vote to hang a jury, this modest advantage could prove to be a very big deal

He's gone through a lot of lawyers since this case started, and I have seen some scornful remarks (by lawyers) about some of his earlier team members. We'll just have to wait and see what happens.

Although I think Jordan's allegations against Willis are true, and I don't think he is over-stepping his constitutional authority at this point, it doesn't really matter.

As much as I hate to admit it, the republican congress bark is loud, but they have no bite. She has little to worry about. She and the other Marxists can continue their inquisition unabated. Actually, if she would ask nicely, there are several republicrats more than willing to lend her a hand, if they aren't already doing so.

Where does the Constitution allow Congress to insert themselves into a state case?

When it involves federal funds being used to prosecute said case if I understand the legalese correctly.

Note that Willis did not argue with congress ability to withdraw such funds, but rather said that if they did, it would affect other cases.

This clause is a part of it, but there's more iirc that I can't find at present.

Spending Clause
