I dont really see a decline. I think he's just terrible at public interaction. And not getting any better. Just getting more bizarre trying to save it. Its like he's telling himself, "Okay now you have to say something personable, an anecdote, there's kids here so I gotta say something that relates to them."

And then he says something he really isn't thinking about.

"I knew this guy with one of those old two-toned panel vans, and he used to give out candy and show kids puppies".

Off camera his advisor is saying, "That's not the type of anecdote I meant, Joe!"

It's his attempts to be personable. No Self awareness. It all comes out forced, awkward, and off-putting. I realize he has some daunting stutter than makes his do compensation tricks, but he may be the least gifted orator ever.

It's easy pickings honestly.
