ViM creator Bram Moolenaar RIP

Dutch free software developer Bram Moolenaar has died. He was 62. His Vim text editor is probably one of the single most widely used Linux programs of all time.

So many are afraid of the CLI of *NIX, that something that you can interact with, in color!, puts people at ease.

Before windows and context clicks, you had to have an idea of what you were going to tell the computer to do. Vi saved my brain when I set up a new system to start to the command prompt. A few minutes telling xwindows to start with network and a grub command change and i was set to join the 1980s!! (It was 2007+) but I became a believer!
