I couldn't let go of a small glass jar. Someone visiting asked if he could have it, it rests here at my home. I couldn't let go of it and here I am sitting, thinking how I have nothing and couldn't even give a small glass jar like my whole life depends on it to someone who asked for it.

What you hold on to is better given away.
Give to anyone who asks.
If you give your car today, you might get a castle tomorrow.
Sometimes a person can't give what is really just a petty little thing, but a hair in the soup spoils the whole meal.
It is difficult to let go of a lot of tension attached to it.
Surrender to your fate.
You don't know what tomorrow will bring.
When you have something small, give it away when asked for, it will leave you with nothing. Holding on to a thing makes you lose everything.

THE END

There's a lot to read between the lines of your story, Untun. Karma being the common denominator.

Well done!

I started off being put in mind of a haiku.

I ended thinking thats how properly spiritual truths often seem, like the distillate of an idea.
