UFO Cowboys (ROKU Original)

I just finished watching the 1st season. They are short 20 min episodes.

Meet the Cowboy Sky Watchers, a group of ranchers who investigate extraterrestrial encounters and paranormal activity.

The show is so bizzare as hell. I wonder if any of you have seen it? There's no way this could be real right? How can they get away with some of the scenes if this is fake? Like multilated cows, fires, pits of green goo.

Please chime in, I'm very curious as to what ATS thinks about this show? I looked and cannot find any indication that this show is staged?

It looks great , "Brother you just stepped through the gates of Hell" ....

Monetizing things like this is the number one way to get me to keep walking. Not saying we all don't deserve credit for our endeavors, just saying that things like this where it is implied to be of resoundingly significant importance wouldn't be behind a paywall if someone were really trying to be taken seriously. Such tactics firmly place submissions like this into the realm of entertainment and not science at first glance. I have no desire to have information doled out to me beyond what is necessary to comprehend it, let alone pay for the waste of time between factual morsels.

If I can catch it for free I'd take a peek.

In the trailer, they say it is a reality series. Knowing all shows calling themselves *whatever* "reality" are scripted, I'd say this one is too.
It seems to me it should have been labeled as a documentary if what we are shown is real...

And if scripted, FX could be produced to create realistic props of mutilated cattles.

Not to sure….about it being all that “reality”. If you look at 23sec mark ….that pull back of the cowboys body is a well played out special efx from quite a few movies.

I would put the new series along side the quasi-documentary series of those hillbillies from the Mountain Monsters series.

It is free, as long as you have a stick or roku TV.

Naw it's a real cow, you have to be a fool to think otherwise. See it and get back to me before calling it a prop. Plus they burn in in a pyre and the Jeff guy goes back and cuts into the remains. I've seen animals butchered many times. You can't create layers and layers of fat, meat, muscles, tendons, skin, bone and fur like that, no way.

Maybe, but trying to find out online the real deal about this UC series is abysmal on any searches I have found. And it's also odd it came out about the same time as the recent UAP hearings. What I found odd in the hearings was Grotchs comments about non human remains and how this does coincide with this series when the pond turns.

while skimming Roku, my wife says'' oh look, UFO Cowboys, let's try that.'' As she likes UFO movies and I like cowboy movies I said sure, let's try it..You know like that Cowboy and Aliens'' movie? Why not.

But seconds into it it was clear it was not a movie or series but rather some actors wearing cowboy hats with cameras following them around making a documentary. Hah, We switched without a second thought.

I managed to get through the first episode and canned it about 5 minutes into the second. Purely trash-TV

What turned you off? I myself did not like all the repetitive nonsense and had to work the FF button a lot, made the episodes like 10-15 minutes each. But I went through all 8 episodes. It left me with a dark feeling knowing it was released while the government is holding it's roundtable about UFO/UAP and saying they found stuff.

It does come off kinda 'Blair Witchy' at least most the camera work is not that shaky. I found it fun and kinda spooky considering.

Well, I thought it was great and yes based on real events. The buffalo he was talking about was a big deal in Colorado. But it was happening all over. As an old veteran who worked DOD circuit I can say allot was just us testing. Nothing like testing in real world.
In some cases if you research whole herds were taken out. You just can't really duplicate real world testing in the lab.

Does not make it right but if we want to keep pace with our enemies we must.

Back in day there was a movie about it, wish I could remember name. But it was accurate, we have illegally tested NBC agents here in America.

Suggest searching it out, it is a good watch.

There were many parts that were over the top and unnecessary, like the alien hand etc.

But, all these shows take license with the truth.

But, I enjoyed it and that most important right lol.

I enjoyed the story line but could have done without the repetition and foul language. I was kind of mad that they ended it on a cliff hanger not knowing if the old man would live or die or what happened to him earlier that evening.
