If Bidenomics was working so well and the president has good policies then why isn't the left using that instead?

They are. I haven't seen a single Democrat campaigning on Trump's crimes.

Instead they're all campaigning on things like the fact that under Biden inflation is down to 3%. Unemployment is at its lowest level since like the 50s. Manufacturing in the US is skyrocketing.

Biden is out raising the entire GOP field and has never once mentioned Trump's indictment. Meanwhile, Trump has only been raising funds based on his indictment. At this point the only policy positions we know he has is to essentially turn the President into a king.

There you go lying again. She was ordered to pay court fees because her defamation suit against Trump failed. It had nothing to do with the content of Trump's post but rather the post was protected speech.

Lmao none of this is even remotely accurate!!! This is essentially saying “Biden’s administration says he doing well, so it must be true!”

Stormy tried to blackmail Trump and wound up paying him. You can split legal hairs all you want, but thats the way it came out. She has to pay him.

BLACKMAIL money, he paid her, not hush money.

And lets look at that fund Congress keeps for same, eh?

Do not call me a liar again. I'd hate to have to call a mod over your ToS violation.

Small donations in untraceable gift cards. Same way Obama laundered foreign campaign contributions.

It's not splitting hairs when it's two completely different things.

Stormy sued Trump for defamation over a single post. A judge ruled the post as protected speech and as a result not subject to defamation laws. She was ordered to pay legal fees.

That's a far cry from claiming she was found guilty of blackmail.

I believe there's a pending court case that's going to look into the hush money payments.

And lets look at that fund Congress keeps for same, eh?

We should. The fact that we've known about the fund for almost a decade and no investigation has been since is appalling. We should know the name of every member of Congress that has used that fund and they should be immediately removed from Congress.

The numbers are out there.

Even Morgan Stanley have said that the economy is doing so well they've had to admit we're in a boom and they're adjusting their predictions for the next few years.

I didnt' say she was found guilty of blackmail.

I asked why what she did wasn't considered blackmail? Why do you call it hush money? Same thing, different spin. Pay me to shut up or I will tell. Isn't that blackmail?

And karma worked out that she has to pay him.

Cohen approached her after he was notified by National Enquirer editor-in-chief, David Pecker, that Stormy was shopping the story around.

He then offered to pay her for rights to the story so it could be buried.

This was after he had already approached Pecker with money to bury a similar story that was sold to the Enquirer by Karen McDougal.

That's the difference between hush money and blackmail.

The fact he learned how by being on the same ticket then! Why would he stop?

I flashed back on this when I heard the same thing I heard back then, that the lions share of their fund raising comes form small internet donations by CC. Foreign donations being laundered, made by robots.

Same # different campaign. Use your head.

So you're good with the open border, the higher taxes, the high inflation, the high gas prices, the lower cost of living, the horrible cowardly Afghanistan withdrawal.

This is the hill the democrats want to die on.

This is why Trump has a million indictments.

and yet OMB will not go away...

hell, I've said I'm for DeSantis but his campaign looks DOA, and I'm not sure he even wants the nominee and this is exploratory for 2028. Otherwise, they could hand the Republican nomination to any of the other possible RNC candidates and they aren't coming close to the JRB, Solid Trumpers probably a solid 17%-20% of likely RNC voters won't vote for DeSantis or any other Republican candidate.

No, there isn't. We have certified, recertified, and investigated the f out of our elections and the equipment. Trump lost. He is on audio more than once admitting so. Georgia is done investigating the nothingburger, and is going for the real crime.

Among the most serious and devastating charges that Trump faces is the racketeering indictment in Georgia, where he allegedly used his presidential powers to pressure state officials to change the election outcome in his favor.
Racketeering is a crime that involves engaging in a pattern of illegal activity as part of an organized enterprise. It carries a penalty of up to 20 years in prison and a fine of up to $25,000 in Georgia.

Thanks for the laugh.

1. No charges have come out of Georgia yet, so this is merely talk for now. Saber rattling if you will.

2. There's so much evidence of election irregularities, malfeasance, and fraud from the 2020 Georgia election, that discovery in this case would be EPIC.

Yea

#1 Because plenty of other former Presidents have been indicted on such charges.

#2 An indicted former President likely winning the nomination of one party, and running in the general election
happens at the time

#3 Im sure there wouldn't be any posts about this on ATS

But most importantly the country needs to avoid going through this, continue to the issue that has divided us, and let it linger for another 4 years or more.

But what do I know, I suppose it's optimal to live in a country where 30% believe one thing happened one way, and 20% believe the exact opposite.

This is the one that gets me. How can it be illegal to access evidence of a crime?

Because that's interfering with the investigative process - and they didn't go through normal channels to get the information; they broke in and stole it.

I'll add another point: There was no backup or accountability in their "smash and grab" effort. In real life you have to document why you went for that evidence, how it supports 'evidence of a crime', and chain of custody to ensure the data isn't tainted. They had no legal right to the information, as far as I know they didn't have any real method of verifying the data (unlike the state... all election records are backed up with printed copies... and I know this because I act as an elections judge), and had no method of preserving the data.
