So you feel Old ?

Tommy Aldridge has long been top 3 on my drummer ratings list since I witnessed his awesomeness in the early 80s when he was with Ozzy but since the passing of Neil Peart and previously Randy Castillo Tommy has taken the top slot , watching this has cemented that placing as a 71 year old Tommy Aldridge shows the kids how it's done.

Here's the whole video from last years O2 Arena show in London , Tommy's drum solo is at 47 min into the 90 minute show.


That shouldn't be possible , right ?

I'd like to wish Tommy happy 73rd Birthday next month , and success with his new band.

Earlier this year Tommy guested on drumming youtube channel Drumeo where he plays tracks from his new project , discusses his early days behind a kit , how he was inspired by what John Bonham was playing and his friendship with Randy.

Awesome drummer and really nice guy , Happy Birthday Tommy.

How about "Foreigner" touring, and there's not a single original member in the band.

Essentially full-price ticket for a cover band.

Depends if they can still do it , Tommy Aldridge , the drummer who this thread is about can very much still do it and he's 73.
