Ahoy oy from the Land of Confusion

Ahoy, you fellow seekers of truth and clarification! I'm Stonewaller ( a reference to the Inn of fame and not the usual response from politcos.) I've been studying and researching various conspiracy theories for the better part 4 decades, and I've come to a few conclusions.
1. Most ( about 86%) are bunkum, products confirmation bias, poor research, fear mongering and, in a blessedly few cases, deliberate distorting of facts. ( Mark Lane, staring at you, mate.)
2. The remaining are truly puzzling, worthy of actual research and not parroting what Aunt Vera's hairdresser's nephew said.
3. History id far odder than anyone suspects.

As for who I am, fair warning : I'm often sarcastic, I prefer actual facts, I bear ill will to only a select few (usually politicians of certain party and most clergy). I myself am former clergy, a former indie filmmaker and a former Southerner, something I continually atone for. I have an extremely odd sense of humor, I'm happily married to an equally bizarre woman, and, in the interest of full disclosure, I am a queer (in multiple senses of that word) enby.

Pikachu is a murderer.

I read voraciously, working on my first book about fear, its causes and consequences, and am trying to learn the guitar so I can better annoy my upstairs neighbour. I also rely waaaaay to heavily on spelchek.

Politically, I lean left ( so far Ieft I fell over a time or two) and while I mean no disrepect, sometimes my typing hands move faster than my brain.
