China's prime minister says that China and India should work together to dominate the world's tech industry, bringing together Chinese hardware with
Indian software. On a visit to India's southern technology hub of Bangalore, Premier Wen Jiabao said the two nations should put aside their historic
rivalries for the venture and welcome a new "Asian century."

Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao visited India's technology hub on Sunday and said the Asian giants could team up to become world leaders in information
technology.
Wen arrived in Bangalore on Saturday on a four-day visit to India aimed at easing a decades-old border dispute and boosting trade between the world's
two most populous countries.
Wen visited Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), India's largest software exporter, at a gleaming technology park symbolising India's growing prowess in
information technology.
"It is true India has the advantage in software and China in hardware. If India and China cooperate in the IT industry, we will be able to lead the
world ... and it will signify the coming of the Asian century of the IT industry," he said.

Wen is also expected to discuss the more than 50-year-old border dispute over their 650-mile frontier, and a solution is expected to be reached
during Wen's four-day visit. The talks between India and China come a week after US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice came to India, talking of
India's growing strategic and economic importance on the global stage. "There is no question that the US follows a doctrine of unilateralism and that
is an area of joint concern for India and China,” says Mira Sinha Bhattacharjea, former director of the Institute of Chinese Studies in New Delhi.
"The bottom line is that we are the neighbors here. We share a border. I would like to see America take a wiser approach to these relations, and see
the cooperation of India and China - which includes elements of competition - as a positive thing."

Could this be the beginning of the end of United States domination of the tech industry? Or, is this the beginning of a peace in the region? With
India and Pakistan allowing buses to cross the border, and now China and India “mending fences,” peace and well-being seems very plausible. When
other countries are more successful and stable, than they pose less of a threat to their neighboring countries. On the other hand, this could also be
perceived as a threat to the United States tech industry.
