I want to do a thread on the healing of entheogenic plants & the connection to God. Is it allowed?

Hi ATS leadership/ owners,

Could you please let me know if I can do a respectful & sensible thread on the healing potential of entheogenic plants, especially discussing the latest scientific research, and the connection which I believe can be demonstrated such that these medicines are an aspect of divine healing given as a gift to humanity?

Under previous incarnations of 'the rules', we weren't allowed to discuss these medicinal plants because they had not yet been decriminalised. In many US states these plants have now been decriminalised. Can I now write the thread?

This thread was an appropriate way to bring it up, so thanks for being thoughtful about it.

It would be easier maybe if others could see the content as they weigh in and I'll post it to the mod forum. I'm fairly comfortable with the topic, but this is a new topic for the site that will need to be moderated by others as well.

There are good reasons why this information is concealed. These plants and substances are not for everyone, and there are drug interactions people should be aware of. Just advocating the use of these substances can lead to people having awful experiences and possibly hurting themselves or others. Not wanting that in my conscience, I tend to keep this information to myself.

Although, the information is concealed, it's not unavailable. Hidden from most, this information is available to those that seek it. There is a beauty to the searching, learning, acquiring, preparing, and experimenting, that can't be taught in a post or classroom. A person who chooses this path, does so on their own accord, and is fully responsible for the outcomes.
