Not sure how the Supreme's could have decided otherwise, to be quite honest.

If you take out a loan--regardless of type--you should be held accountable for it.

You screwed up and got a Liberal Arts degree of some sort, rather than a degree in chemistry, or other science?? That's on you, no one else. Can't repay it?? That's on you, too. Too bad, so sad--welcome to the real world of adulthood.

It does have its moments.

But I've no screaming need to return to being a child.

I've wondered, if student loans are forgiven, does that mean my car loan will be forgiven, if I somehow fall behind on it?

Sure is, 2 years ago moved 4k miles (on my dime)for a new career, almost out of that debt and I have to buy a house because I dont see interest rates ever coming down again so while still carrying more debt than I like I am getting into a 300k+ home (alaska housing market SUCKS).

So yea adulting sucks these cupcakes can suck it, I got my school paid for it and gave up having a good back in my old age.
