Hey team,

I'm trying to put together a few idea's at work for group bonding

The last one I did was a deep sea fishing charter, about 20 of us on the boat, fishing, beers etc.. It was great fun, a little more aimed at boys I feel.

We do have a lady in the group.

what are some awesome group outings you've done with work or friends you'd recommend?

I want it to be something unique... so, bowling or pub crawls etc arent really the vibe im chasing.

White water rafting
Skeet shooting
Pack horse trip
Go cart racing
Skiing

All were a good time hanging out with colleagues outside of work.

Have fun no matter what you decide!

Camping trip. Works like a charm. The guys went fishing and shooting together, and the women hung out and chatted, then all cooked together. At night everyone gathers around the campfire for a big party

We located in East Tennessee and have about 50 employees at a construction company, with friends and family present we have had as many as 150 people attend. We try to do something about 3 times a year.
For years we did a camping / rafting trip / cook out, complete with live music, at Hiwassee Outfitters. As interest in the rafting trip faded we tried to change it up. Last winter we went to a group Hockey game, that was a big hit. Next month in lou of rafting, we are going to a Smokeys baseball game with a catered barbecue and fireworks. Everyone present will get a gift bag.

It’s difficult to please everybody, the younger employees are no longer very interested in the great outdoors.

Homeland Security we train with a giant tied in knots rope. We stand in complete silence with 1 hand on the tied up ball (maybe 8-10 of us). We cannot speak to each other but as a group have to silently communicate to unravel it. Also, we have to make a square and a circle..all by eye contact and nods.

FEMA and Emergency Mgmnt does the same..it teaches silent, effective communication...like in a disaster scenario..to lg groups of people.

Not quite the same as you're seeking...but I remembered this as a great exercise in silent-non-verbal communication. Peace

GoKart, Paintball, shooting range, hiking, water park, museum?

Unique is different since we don't know your or your groups shared interests. Only you can figure such a thing out. I meet two - three times a year on race tracks with a fixed group of people, it's a blast every time.
