Kublai Khan TX - Swan Song

Sometimes I hear a band that isn't in my normal wheelehouse but I just like it and I do not know why other than they just rock.

I’m a great friend of the bassist of this band and have toured many times with him. This band goes hard.

Check out With Life In Mind. That’s the band him and I played in together. Much more melodic than KK but still fun music.

Saw them live...didn't know who they were. Man did they crush it! I will see them again.

I saw KK at The Lost Horizon in Syracuse. How do you like that venue?

Thanks! We’re on a relatively permanent hiatus since everyone kind of grew up and started careers, etc.

I’ve played that venue a few times! It’s been a while so my recall is kind of rough. But from what I remember it’s a nice little joint.

KK is such a heavy band. I really, really enjoy them.

With Life In Mind--Good stuff! I'm also a musician (guitarist) here in Iowa. Know all the Slipknot guys and Entheos, as well as many other bands from here. I just saw Kublai Khan a couple months ago with Thornhill and a bunch of other UNFD bands.
