You got it I think. There is enough angst right now and into the future as I see it that a round up of major proportions would only cause more blowback . Yeah look for the slow simmer or as TS Elliot put it in the Hollow Men, ''not with a bang but a whimper''

Idk, otoh sometimes it looks like they are trying to incite some sort of rebellion, then they can bring out their robot dogs or whatever it is they have.

Round us up?

Why, go through all that work?

They literally had almost the ENTIRE world voluntarily lock themselves into their homes.

Nothing they do will be presented as any type of conflict. They might increase funding for social programs and help people who have certain mental disorders. But "hospitalizing" people will not be done as a punishment. It will be to help protect society from people with dangerous thoughts and speech.

Why do you think there's been this big push to equate speech with violence?

if you look at history we have 2 arcs in play in the West, the big one is the protestant like reformation in the usa that'll spill over on to west and an english like reformation in the uk..

the thing is the english will always be lollards and the americans be levellers, its why when looking at the culture war the lollards and levellers see it through totally different lenses.. eg the differences between posie parker and mat walsh each resonates differently in the other..

the thing is the establishment always ends up with a bishop bonner type person who thinks mass punishment is the way to get an obedient flock but it always back fires..

through that lens i saw the opposite, police guarding dog walkers spots as everyone went to the beach, and partied it was like some 1950s holiday/vacation sitting around bbqs on the beach with instruments and singing..

the worst rule breakers i saw where young mums and toddlers in the parks holding hands, singing/dancing in circles while the protestors clashed with the police in the capital.. the protestors didn't break anywhere near the same number of rules as the mums, maskless handholding, hugs, cuddles, kisses and singing.. it really made me smile to see the depth of the subversion..

i will always think it ironic that tourism exploded here during that period in what is a very left wing location..

its why i have faith these so called health compacts won't work aside from the already submissive and we know who they are..

Why would TPTB need to round anyone up when they know exactly where we are, and what we are doing, at just about any and all times, down to the smartphones we carry around in our pockets combined with the extensive satellite and CCTV networks we have in place?

No need for the likes of FEMA camps and final solutions Chalgreen in this day of age when society is already a concentration camp of sorts that the participants willing pay for.
