UFO/UAP phenomenon — Perspectives on the Present Situation

Greetings to the community.

I have recently finished a long essay on the topic of UFO/UAP phenomenon. Most of the material will be familiar to interested parties. The final section contains some speculations about the nature of the 'vehicles' involved. I am a contactee that had a long (undocumented) involvement with a nonhuman intelligence. Although this essay does not detail that experience, it utilizes perspectives related to what I came to understand during my experience. The article is paywalled, but I am sharing a link here that isn't, out of respect to my long membership and interest in this site.

I welcome comments, critique, corrections and other opinions or perspectives that I might incorporate into the essay (with credit, where appropriate). I am far more interested in new insights and understandings together than I am in any form of grandstanding.

Will, Lord willing, be giving this a full read - modern events have sparked my interest in this topic again, I too am a recipient of the UFO phenomena. Though my experience ruined my life, it is still just that, an experience.

I have finished reading the essay. It is rather concise and factually complete as far as we know about the phenomena. However, as an abductee from 1964, with decades of insights into the whole activity, I feel it is too removed from the reality that is taking place and diverts off into areas not relevant to a basic discussion of where humanity is at this point in our position at the hands of the ETs. And that is the basic situation. We are pawns. We are being played by first the ETs and then by our own governments that must abide by the galactic club that has assembled around us to make us whole.

If we had not ventured into space, we would probably have been left alone to sort out ourselves. The bursting of atoms cemented their need to make us right...or else. Humanity is in crisis, at a turning point that it will not accept in itself, so forces are at play to make us be the creatures we think we are already.

We are in danger of either us destroying ourselves or being destroyed by the gate-keepers. The US government, for one, is plainly visible as being in a panic mode to change everything that we once thought true and dear. Rights, freedoms and even sovereignty at every level are being cast aside for some yet unidentified idealism.

While the essay is purposely academic, it largely ignores the humiliating process that we are being rendered into at the hands of higher intelligences. Just keep in mind that you will own nothing and you will be happy.

Thanks for your comment, which is sensible. It does appear to be a lens flare. I will probably leave it there anyway since it's pretty difficult to find an image that is suitably provacative and historical and also intriguing. This historical image is a good fit, but I would appreciate any suggestion of something to replace it and I may add text that mentions your finding. Again, my thanks. a reply to: Spacespider

Thanks for your insightful comments. I would encourage you to listen to the following podcast, which demonstrates a problem we have with the entire range of phenomena—namely 'the colonial narrative'. The narratives we are exposed to actually transform our thought and experience ... in ways that are far more dramatic than we are inclined to believe or suspect. I am curious about the history of your readings on the topic, and would certainly like to hear more about your experience. I, too, am a 'contactee' of an NHI, but my experience was a: totally positive b: unlike common narratives, and c: lasted for 9 months. I rarely speak of this for a variety of reasons. Curious to learn more about your thought and experience.
