Woopy doo!!

amp.smh.com.au...

Most of the people who deliver I have spoken to are mostly poor students who are struggling as it is.

Now Uber are forcing a policy that all delivery vehicles must be electric.

So they expect a poor worker to but an electric road registered scooter for $8000.

Or a cheap electric at 50000.

All this is going to go is drive people to the wall, who can’t get a job elsewhere that may not fit into their studies.

Now the paper based food containers will break down and leak when I order a laksa.

I really am seeing this woke movement is out to destroy.

You can’t own anything, only a loan to pay for the car, be kn debt for your whole life for Uber.

Though you’ll be happy.

Agreed mate, they will go the way of deliveroo.
You need workers who need to work.

People who can buy an electric car are most likely financially stable, snd would not deliver food or be a taxi.

All electric vechiles is a wild proposal. But I'm all on board removing one-time use plastic when possible. For example, I think grocery stores should be banned from using plastic bags.

If there is a better alternative to one-time plastic, then that one-time plastic should be banned. This is where I think the government should step in, as the people and companies are not going to fully convert over to creating less pollution unless they are forced into it.

At least not the majority.
