Hi MP. Don't want to argue with you, so please take this as nothing more than a friendly disagreement.

This rainfall linky was posted on page 3 of this thread, by InachMarbank.

In that chart, we see how little rainfall the province had over the first few months of this year.

Our experience of the weather seems to be different.
My experience this year : was a warmer than average few weeks in late March/early April, that caused a heavier than usual snow-melt at that time. The rivers rose a bit earlier than usual.

Then we had a long dry spell.

Then we had a good hot-spell in the end of May, and early June.

There are always hundreds of forest-fires at that time of year, mostly from natural causes. ( Lightning. )

( If the settings are not right : set the day to June 1st, and the timeframe from 0h to 24h, then watch how the province got lit-up that day. )

The conditions were primed for this " sudden " outbreak of multiple fires, and, in my experience, this often goes-down the same way : multiple fires starting in a short time frame, every spring.

We had a good dump of rain yesterday, so at least the grass in the park is less yellow and crispy to walk on.

So different experiences it seems, but that seems to be similar with all folks.

It's difficult to find more links, because everything is filtered through Climate-Change™ BS™ these days.

Bonne journée !!

( ETA : if you want to talk about depression, please feel free to PM me, as have survived it, so far... LoL ! )
