The Language of song ---- Come sing with me

Music is truly an amazing medium for communication among our species.
Its ability to convey messages and feelings, sometimes without any words is simply astounding

The idea sound itself can be used in so many different arts and technologies leads me to believe it is more powerful than the pen or the sword.
Since i was young, I have always received messages from my soul, through music. it is always there when I need it, as a warning, or comforting message when in need. As confirmation and contradiction to my own thoughts, but the message is always true.

Throughout our recent history as humans I feel we have only just begun to understand the implications of music and sound, and in such I came up with this exercise in communication. Consider it a game.

The rules are simple. In this example I will lead with a quote from a song to convey a message or topic of conversation. I hope others will respond in kind, and reply with their hearts instead of their words.

Rule #1 : you must quote the title and artist along with the section of song you are using to communicate
I.E. : The message conveyed : "insert said message here" along with the title of the song and the artist, then a you tube link if included
Rule #2 : If you are going to use a link please, for the ease of the ATS community, use only functioning you tube links. (though links are not required, i just want to hear the songs )

Rule #3 : Have fun and be honest, messages in music are more powerful than any deception

Queen -Good Company.

Message - take care of those you call your own (like your family), and otherwise, make sure you keep good company.
That is, don't be picky about discarding "bad company", or it will change and distract your lifetime's trajectory and purpose.

And I suppose, at the end all you have is yourself, so make sure you like your own "limited" company.

Check out the Hypogea sp? It is a fantastic series of dug out rock caves that resonate when music is played. Also, I've always found it interesting about what they say about the history of Gregorian chant, and healing in the middle ages.

Dont forget the more powerful soundwaves we know of can also cause damage, different frequencies can also have different effects so its not absurd to consider that some could heal as well.
