Your next NATO CIC... Mette Frederiksen

She won't admit it, in fact here in Denmark she has been denying anything in that direction.
Never the less, Mette has been doing her best to be groomed for the position after Jens Stoltenberg will leave the post this fall.

Mette is poor anti-people politician. She is a brilliant spinner though, weaving through tough questions instead of answering them truthfully. Denmark is a worse place after Covid. And up to the election her and her party painted a picture of a Denmark in distress that required tough choices in regards to limiting expenses.

Yesterday, her minister of Finance was happily able to report that Denmark is not in distress after all and have 69 billion crowns to spend in 2023. Most likely it will be spent mindlessly on military exploits and a pretend-save of the health care system.

There are reports from inside the government, that the possibility of Mette leaving the wheel of the Social Democrats, has spawned a lot of friction between the 3 parties, now making up the Danish government... who will lead after Mette?

Is Mette going to get that NATO post? In terms of securing a job after the Social Democrats, it's her best bet. She has time and time again directly lied to the Danish people. She will not be allowed to get re-elected as PM of Denmark in 4 years.

Only time will tell...

One key relationship is straining Mette

Today, the Danish coalition government, announced that they were promising NATO, that Denmark over the course of the next 10 years will be spending an additional 143 billion Crowns (20.5 billion dollars), Danish military.

This at a time where the Danes have waved goodbye to a paid holiday (because of tight budgets), and are facing rapid decline in healthcare, education and elderly care. The Danish standard of living is getting worse.

Doesn't take much imagination to see this was a payoff for being the next head of NATO.

Mette continues to suck up

For some-one who isnt running she sure is getting round a lot.

Yesterday it also became public that the, currently away on leave because of stress, Vice PM and Defense Minister outright lied to the defense comitee about having received various offers from defense contractors and also about the timeframe for which an intended contract was open.
He told them in Jan 2023, that the best offer expired in end of Jan 2023. Its didnt.
And apperently, there were no other offers.... he lied.

Contract went to ISRAELI Elbit, with no effort.

You future NATO CIC, knew about this, knows about it now, and ofc she and the party of the lying VP are the only parties not asking the VP to explain himself in a hearing with parliament.

We cannot trust a PM, much less a person, who will openly support an outrught lying minister, simply because of affiliation and personal gain.

It shows a weak character and lack of integrity.

Today, which is day 2 of a small 3 day holiday for Danes,Ekstra Bladet, is report how Mark Montgomery who is program director for Foundation For Defense of Democracies, considers Mette to be a good candidate.

She is being lined up... not because she is a good loyal person to the people, but because she is good at following orders by the powers that be.
She doesnt give a F about the general population of ANY country, but she will say she does if it helps the agenda.

She is going to be the leader of the biggest terrorist army in the world.
Surely we would want to keep a person like that somewhat favourable of the people

Well thankfully she didnt make it.

Wether its a good thing that Stoltenberg remains in power is another question.

Article today discloses that the main reason Mette got booted was her top two focus points for NATO ad presented to the powers of the US Congress.

Mette stated that she wanted to make LGBT and Climate her main areas of focus.

Why on Earth she thought that was a good idea simply perplexes me..

Her move is being desribed as an "own goal".
