I may not vote at all now that I know just how dirty and dysfunctional our election process is -- thanks to the Kari Lake trials and numerous other recent events.

Maybe that was her role after all. Controlled opposition. Deep, deep control. Bring up hopes with lies and then disappoint people so greatly they don't even want to vote any more. Seems to be playing right into the democrats' hands.

I say don't let it get to you. Every vote counts and every vote means something. Cast your vote for whomever you think is best. Personally, I believe Kari Lake is a power hungry con artist, but that's my opinion. It has no effect on you.

Go out and vote.

If only it were that simple!!! But it's not. Our elections are a mess. Our legally proscribed chain-of-custody protocols and documentation were not executed properly. Our legally mandated signature verification process is treated as a suggestion rather than the law. Adjudication rates are 10x normal and have neither been documented nor recorded properly under the law. Election Day saw electronic machines fail in up to 90% of voting precincts. And that's just the 2022 election. We've been complaining since before the 2018 midterms, and it's only gotten worse, while elected officials have shirked their duties and treated the voters demanding better like lowly peasants... not citizens with rights.

Make no mistake: I hold Republicans and Democrats equally responsible and equally in contempt. I voted for Kari and the other election integrity candidates, who were all Republican. Never voted for Trump.

Next election is a whole new ballgame. If I vote for a president, it will probably be Libertarian -- again.

I’m voting for whom I always vote for… myself. Runner up would be The Don.

As it stands right now I won't be voting 'for' POTUS candidate; I will be voting against one. I refuse to waste my vote on an independent candidate which just ensures it wouldn't count.

DeSantis raises red flags for me. First, he's a lawyer. IMHO that is part of the DC problem, along with the vast amount of wealth to be made in politics. Secondly, he was part of Schwan's YGL program, and all information on that subject seems to have been scrubbed from the internet. Third, my gut instinct tells me if something seems too good to be true, it probably isn't.

I fear our next POTUS choices will both be Trojan Horses. We're to far down the totalitarian path of control for TPTB to allow a course reversal.

Well, at any time everyone is ready, we can legally form a militia to overtake tyranny so they better tread lightly down the path.

I'll just burn my vote on whatever libertarian they dangle out there, like I always do. I probably won't ever vote republican or Democrat (president) for the rest of my life. Local and state elections I vote all over the place.

Libertarian as well and from this thread, indication is...GOP has ATS locked in and it looks like thin the herd operation has begun.

Yeah for real doe. How dare the majority of posters here have common sense and opened eyes.

I like a Scott/DeSantis or DeSantis/Scott ticket myself. I will support Trump if he is the nominee, as my only problem with him is his personality. I have way more problems with Biden, beyond personality.

You're not going on a date with him, lol.

Have you never worked for a boss that had a horribly narcissistic personality? Apparently you haven't.

You really want 4 more years of Biden, at least 4 years of Trump was good and entertaining. Biden has been about as good and entertaining as a case of herpes.

Sanity has nothing to do with it. I live in the Chicago area and I personally know more people than I like to admit that voted for geriatric Biden. I asked why and all I could get out of them was “it’s not Trump!” I believe it’s purely emotional response. They get triggered ñ. Crazy. a reply to: RazorV66

Well if 50% of all humans are below 100 IQ there is that too...

I'm pretty sure TPTB have been considering that for many decades and are well prepared and fortified.

I vote that we keep a record of every single promise made, by every single candidate running in all parties.

We put a AI lie detector in place, but throttle it to be only able to have a bias of +/- a small percentage in either direction.

AI really isn't AI though....it's written by man. It can't feel or learn from feeling. It can only understand what it collects.

Anywho....would be interesting to see how AI can be used.

Rinse Repeat.

Trump got in because he was not Hillary.

Biden got in because he was not Trump.

The next one will get in because they are not Biden or Trump.

Be that Kennedy, DeSantis, or Mickey Mouse.

If I want entertainment, I play Minecraft. Meanwhile, I do want clean water, healthcare for everyone, etc. instead of tax breaks and political favors to Big Business and billionaires. And I want the taxes to increase on the ultra rich. They can afford it.

Except...we're not electing a dictator.

The president can't initiate legislation for Congress. If Congress won't support him, it doesn't matter if you've got Jesus Christ or the deity of your choice there, they won't be able to get anything done. The president can sincerely mean something and work for it, but if Congress decides they don't like him, he or she is roadblocked.

Exactly. What is wrong with a quiet presidency?

Stuff is getting done. But all we hear is how old Biden is, or some other non-sensical ridicule.

"You" may not agree with what is getting done -- some people do -- and again -- stuff is getting done.
